just got back from san fran about 3 weeks ago and test drove them on the infion raceway. We also drove a new 3 series bmw the new c-class benz and a lexus is250AWD. Hands down the Audi takes the cake. The new a4 will run circles around those 3 easy.

because the original poster told us so. its light and quick supposedly|
I used to drive a piece of shit old car that had no balls (you guys saw the gigantic rip on the door) and at work I drive a crew cab full bed f150 and that thing is like a fucking bus. so when i come to this small suv its very quick and agile. i felt the difference instantly when i drove out of the dealership. which makes it light and quick for me. i like it.

see above.

besides, for 32k (330 mo) fully loaded (gps/sat) it is pretty good. i barely have any complaints with it. great on gas, its quick for me (again see above) looks sleek enough for me. ive never really been a fan of those "luxury" high end cars. besides most people that have them also have a huge ego/attitude, so ive met anyways.

my 2 cents.

See, this is why the American auto market is:

a) full of shitty cars

b) wasting 5 times the resources actually needed to make cars

...because tards like yourself think a 5000 lbs SUV is "light" and "agile".

Try driving a 3000lbs "normal" car that's 10% narrower, 20% lower, and 30% shorter. Perhaps then you will realise the true meaning of the words "light" and "quick".

I am a huge fan of subi's - but I have never heard one with an aftermarket exhust that sounds good... ever.

Then you have never heard the right exhaust. I love that low rumble turbo exhaust sound. It is so sick.

Everything is relative dude. When you drive a fucking elephant of a vehicle and go to a hippo, it feels much different. I am not saying that an SUV is neither light nor agile (they can be if done properly but that would be a modified one anyways) but considering everything he said, it is "light" and "agile" relatively speaking compared to what he drove previously.

Are you really as dense as you come off sometimes?

LOL I totally agree that it is over-priced. The target of the car relative to the price is just shit. I would take an S5 over the 135i anyways. I have always loved the VAG products. They are some of my fav cars.

Yes, no shit.

Driving a 5 tonne SUV is going to feel light compared to a 20 tonne truck too.

You missed my point entirely: civilians with absolutely no need for such huge cars are wasting resources and clogging up the roads with their behemoth vehicles.

If you've been to Europe, think back to how small all the cars are there compared to America, where Cadillacs, F250's, Hummers and any number of other outrageously huge vehicles reign supreme.

It's a fucking farce that should never have been allowed to eventuate.

I was never debating that fact that people in the US and Canada drive SUVs for no reason. And although I agree with you on that point, you obviously came off as if he was saying that in general, a fucking SUV was "light" and "agile" while he was just using it in context of his situation. Which comes back to my point of, "are you really as dense as you come off sometimes?" that I asked. I really see that you have similar views as I in different aspects, but this is one of many times I just don't get your denseness and disdain for "americans" that you show to have.

Also, one major reason small cars are supreme has to do with the roads and necessity. A hummer takes up the whole road that 2 cars would usually be able to squeeze by. So of course they are going to buy smaller cars. FFS we aren't all fucking tools.

It's a 2003 Golf, the regular one, not GTI. It's the 1.6l version.
