For the first time there's nothing big in Montreal on the 31st, Tiesto is there on the first. So I needed a place to go and after talking with people close to Armin, I found out it's his last Armin Only Imagine and figured I should be there!

I've never miss a Bal en Blanc in the last 7 years and I wont miss it this year! Last year Bal en Blanc was about 15 000 people, Black & Blue few years back wear at 25 000 + at Olympic Stadium but never went! I'm flying in at Santa Ana Orange County Airport and renting a Car... So far I'm reserved at the Clarion downtown. I think I'll take a taxi from the hotel to the venue. For sure most TA should try to meet up somewhere!

He is starting at 7 so r they gonna let people in earlier or what? cuz if he starts at 7 pm then aint a bunch of people gonna miss his opening? because of the gay lines n stuff? or r they gonna have someone else play until like 8:00 then he comes out?

I'm pretty sure for one or two hours Armin will play from Backstage, then he will do the big Intro with all the special effects and the Armin Only will start with guest etc...

We have 3 stages. 2 outside (left & right) main event takes place inside of course.

My main concern is having a repeat of EDC where it took upwards of an hour to get into the venue. Yes, some people managed to get in very quickly, but I have no intention of pushing or squeezing my way through with a group of 10 people.

Did someone post anything new about the layout of the VIP sections for the TAO arena (not the cabana areas), like a map of some sort. Also, has anyone ever got VIP passes before? If so, are there tons of seating in the VIP areas and good views of the main stage?

VIP Sections are all over. mainstage and the 2 different stages have their own section. private bathrooms.

Just Imo...

The "soft open" at Nocturnal was Perfect!! No line to get tickets, no line to get in! It was park and party.

The VIP set up at this years Monster Massive was awesome! There where no lines at the bars.

Well curses to all of you with VIP. No repeat of EDC for the rest of us please!

I'll be showing up quite sauced so I figured that I'd need maybe 2-3 more drinks over the night to hold me through. And then I can always share between the group. Even at a cost of $5/6 for a beer, I still come out ahead. I've never really seen the point of VIP even on those occassions where I've been fortunate for a hookup. It seems like its for an older more reserved crowd. EDC would be an exception here, since VIP lines were quicker.

Just done with finals and the countdown has begun!

the SNS stage are always to the left of the sports arena. where love festival has their annual party.


drum and bass stage will be towards the right i believe.

Small update.




They will have 5 GA entrances all around the sports arena. and 2 VIP entrances. also Groovetickets will be located further away from the sports arena so it wont be much of a cluster fuck.

im excited.

any info about sleeping in the car in the parking lot after the show? since I don't feel like driving after a few drinks..

I actually passed out for 3 hours in my car after a big show like this...nobody gave me shit..

anybody know when will set times be posted?

granted there isnt much...but i gotta have my plan of attack.

They usually do it the week of. probably late in the week. i say WED or thursday

I wouldn't recommend it, as I had a very different experience:

I drove my friend's car once to the Sports Arena, I think it was for Tiesto in Concert. I wasn't familiar with the car (lights were where windshield wiper is on my car, etc.), so I didn't notice that the lights were still on after we parked. My friend didn't notice either so after the event was over we came back to the car and a dead battery.

Within a half hour the police were driving around yelling into bullhorns that everyone must leave. Had to tell them that the car battery was dead. Then the next police car came by, and had to tell them as well, etc. The police were not nice at all, instead of saying "please go soon as you can," it was more like "get the hell out now or you will be arrested!" Took AAA 45 minutes to get there, and I was never so happy to leave a parking lot in my life!

This should be good, as long as we get a map. I can never find the #%&*@ GrooveTickets booth! Spent 30 minutes looking for it at Monster Massive, then once I finally had a wristband, walked right into the VIP entrance with no line whatsoever!

Glad to see some of the mistakes of EDC and Monster are getting fixed.

I was in line for an hour at EDC and thought I would get crushed a couple times.

Jennifer Rene and Susana I beleive are the only ones who actually sang at this event.
