are you guys really whinning about the fact that kids are getting interested in Edm ?
Are u guys retarded ?
uploading Greg's set right now...
plus I'll post something later, i found a way to clear up the audio a bit with the equalizer and shit
I remember one year it was almost like -40 with the windchill and there were as many people as last night, I can't really say how bad the crowd was, I am usually on the mezzanine and shit.
Thanks Jesse!
And thanks everyone! I had a fantastic time, couldn't have asked for any more!
new file will be up later
Jesse the first hour of that pretty much is Alix... I played 2nd and 4th hour, she played 1st & third.
My set starts with just about 60 mins left of that file.
The kill Bill track was the last song of my first set.

Excellent job greg!
Wow, crazy night that started off right here at Igloofest! Got there around 9:40 (sorry to hear so little of your set Greg but there were various problems with the people i was coming with..fuck). What I heard from Greg sounded banging and the crowd seemed really into it! Great job man!
Holden's first track was RIDICULOUS!! What a way to start the set! Over all his track selection is still second to none, at times he went a bit too experimental and loud for my tastes (and my right eardrum) but his drops always delivered and his overall sound is still my favorite than any other in E.D.M. today. I preferred his set at Circus to be honest, seemed to be more structured and flowed nicer, but the Igloofest rave with thousands of people dancing to Holden is pretty much the perfect way to start off a night. Had to leave around 12:15 so i couldn't stay for his whole set at Igloo. And i can't believe he played that Cylob track! PERFECT.
Great booking Igloofest peeps!
Good luck to anyone who's going to Freeland tonight, I wish i could but after 9 hours of partying I cannot move.
Oh and those little young kids were annoying as hell. It's great that they're enjoying e.d.m. but i doubt they even knew who was playing and they all just seemed to take the opportunity to get trashed and wasted on alcohol and drugs. Great.
Caught Alix's 3rd hour set. Overall it was a disapointing set. Some older electro-house tracks that made me stop moving..
Greg's 4th hour set was great though! Great track selection, loved the groove!
By the time Holden went on it was getting ridiculously packed. I was constantly looking for space the hole night, people pushing around, was getting on my nerves. Just way too many people. I heard they reached 8,000 people and had to refuse another 1000 at the door!!
I could barely concentrate on listening to his set, but I think Holden played some cool tunes, the vibe was pretty awesome, lots of happy people raving on trancy Holden tracks, outside, during the winter: priceless stuff!
I left around 11 because our feets were soaked and we just couldn't move! Heard the last part of his set was insane after I left....
Freeland sucked IMO. I really don't like his brand of electro house. The Igloofest management should also clear the ground of all the slush before people show up, my feet were soaking...
Track ID
Could someone tell me the name of track playing around the 31st minute of Holden's set? Love it!

man it was rammed on friday, almost didn't get in
hi-light of 2009 for me, hearing greg drop our co-lab
bosh!
With the Igloofest crowd I think Carl Cox would fit in perfectly in terms of Music and crowd interaction.
I doubt it will ever happen seeing the price tag on the guy, but I just think it would work amazing.
Plus I still wanna see this style of techno live
