We are at house on the canal in North Miami Beach, about 20 mins away....good escape from downtown mayhem when we want it....

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but for the love of all that is good people make sure that you take care of your cell phone plan and get all the possible roaming upgrades for texting and calling.

you don't want to come back all stupid and then a month later realize just how stupid you were and have to pay an additional 1000 dollar phone bill.

Bell users... they introduced US text package options.

50 - $5
100 - $10
1000 - $20

If you have a regular text package your incoming are free and out going would be deducted from the above.

Pay per use is $0.60/message.

telus.. apparently i dont have to do any changes. all texting in NA is same price and no roaming charges. only if you make phone calls do you get dinged.
