Speaking of glowsticks, lol

When I was sitting down taking a breather around 6-630am, this sketched out dude beside me asked me no short of 4 times (!!!!!) if i wanted a light show from him! LOL

He asked me the first time; I said no. 5 mins later, he asked me again (like as if i'd changed my mind or something); I said no. Then he asks me AGAIN abt 10 mins after that... I shake my head and so no once again again. This time i was thinking to myself 'WTF'. Its like he's so f*cked that he doent even remember asking me those prior 2 times. ... THEN... YUP! He asks me again! haha omg

I just looked at him, got up and went back to dancing! LOL. It was a sign for me to get moving again i told myself. lol

This distortion is what disappointed me, I couldn't properly hear the amazingness of the baseline fully. I only heard this at the back specifically.

I should have done this.

I seriously felt like my ear drums were gonna explode at times around the middle of the night in there. Should have listened to Tara and went to get earplugs. (Jesus, i dont even know why i didnt lol)

Ill just be happy to have my ER-20s with me next time I'm out. Boy, did I sorely regret not having those with me on Sunday night!

luckily this was one of the few times that i actually remembered to bring some with me and i'm so glad i did. i had them in for the last 4 hours or so that i was there. my ears felt so good afterwards.

Fantastic night! as far as crowds go this was probably the best night iv had at the guv ever.

Squillace played a good set. I wasnt expecting the mayhem he caused in the summer at CZ but he definitely exceeded my expectations in the main room. Some of the best tracks he played were probably when they were playing back to back around 6ishh. Tech house with a melodic twist, reminded me a bit of Lee Burridge's RA podcast. My first time hearing Squillace and dubfire together and they make an absolute crazy duo

Coming to Mr Fanciulli. The first 20 minutes were really slow. boring actually. After that he turned it on. His progression and flow were excellent but his track selection was not something i would remember. A lot of ppl here loved his set but somehow i didnt think he was that good. maybe he needed more time.

Ali was on fire. The moment he came on the place lifted. Does anybody have an id on his opening track? huge bassline. His set mostly compromised such tracks and not since Lawler's set in 2007 did i hear the main room sounding so good. he was definitely top dj of the night for me. Some of the tracks he played were just
never heard anything like them in the main room.

The 3 of them b2b was a treat, maybe they had a great time in TO and wanted to give us a present. whatever the reason they were awesome. everywhere i looked they were huge smiles. WAT A NIGHT!

Over the years as i have come to experience different forms of EDM iv realised what my dream party would be in Toronto. Squillace and Dubfire at Footwork for a 10 hour set.

Noooooo!

I left at 2:30am to go back to Cambridge, but only because I was hungry and tired lol, the music was awesome! I was loving it!

I usually stay until about 3am - 4am LATEST now, if that haha.

I guess i'm getting old? lol
