yeah good thinking... i think for the next installment.. when the person signs up and suggests a genre.. a couple/few video examples should be submitted

Meat...the link you put up for Nik's set on the first post doesn't work

Agreed.

Strange, works for me. It should take you to his post with the tracklist and the DL Link. You didn't try right click, save as... did you?

The link takes me to the top of that page, not the post (even though it should).

So it works differently for everyone?! Probably because of individual posts per page settings or something...
Any advice on how to correctly link individual posts?

Each post has a "postID." If you click "quote," the resulting URL at the top of the page will have the postID contained in it. You can then create a link for a particular post that will look like this:

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=postID#postID

This is the link for Mr. Mystery's post with his set:

Just finished taking a listen to this... wow, this is incredible! Lots of stuff I haven't heard before mixed in with some songs I love.

The funny thing is I've actually owned these records all along, I just never really listened to them. A lot of these came from flipsides of breaks/prog breaks tracks I've got.

Link is working now, it took me to an empty page but the one JBJ posted works just fine

I listened to Nik's set this morning. Awesome shit bro, it sounded like one of the good Sasha or Digweed GU compilations of yore.

I gotta tell you, this is getting very interesting because if I would've gotten Progressive House I would have done something completely different. I would've went with stuff more like Sander Kleinenberg's "Everybody" comps or Hernan Cattaneo's "Renaissance Masters" comps.

Looking forward to the rest of the mixes

I've thrown together an awful oldskool goa mix to begin with. If i get chance i'll do a better one but I have a busy few days coming up so if I don't have time i'll use this. It's only just over half an hour but it's hard to mix shit like this If I do get the time I want though the other one will be a mix of new & old and much better

JBJs doesn't work for me in Chrome but works in IE. A link that seems to work perfectly in both is:

another suggestion. how about the people who suggested a genre then have to do a mix of it & people get to vote who did the best, the one who picked it or the one who had to do it ?

oh snap i'm in on the prog house mix. i wish people still spun(?) music like this

Posted by denys envy on Mar-11-2009 17:44:

woot! i picked out the tracks i want. gonna mix it either tonight or tomorrow.

it's funny, this is the music that literally got me into EDM. i mean i was listening to some trance here and there. but big beat was where it's at mid-late nineties. Crystal Method and Chemical Brothers were mainstays in my CD case. Progigy, Propellerheads, Fatboy Slim shit.

researching for this mix really brought back a lot of memories.

it would only teach me in the sense that no-one would download and listen to it, making it a waste of my time lol.

but really.. this is sort of how i feel about having to do the italo mix.. come on.. really how many of you are really that interested in me doing an italo set?
