reSOLUTE Goes Detroit - Sunday Morning 3am, May 24th

Sunday morning (3am), May 24th... mark your calendars because reSOLUTE is coming back to Detroit for yet another sunny summer sock hop during the Movement Festival!

Last year was one to remember and we have even bigger surprises planned for this year.

We will be returning to our now favorite Detroit venue-- TV Bar. With a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor areas for mingling, canoodling and some good old-fashioned dancefloor action, we couldnt have found a better place for this shindig. And weve hooked up both areas with a brand-spanking-new sound system to make sure you dont miss one blip, beat or tweek.

As far as the line up goes, well, lets just say weve secured one to keep you delightedly dancing all night, morning, and afternoon...

See you all at TV Bar!

[DET] Im On A Boat w/ Luciano/Locodice/AME/Dixon/Henrik/+More May 24

For every great party there has to be an after party. Not all after parties are great, but not all after parties are on a boat in Detroit....

On Sunday, May 24th, Paxahau, Cheap Sunglasses, and Redbull Music Academy team up to bring music lovers everywhere the official Movement '09 After Party on the "Detroit Princess", docked directly in Hart Plaza on the river.

Details:

Boarding begins directly after the festival, promptly at 12 Midnight. The Princess will leave at 1:30 AM with or without you, so get on the boat!

The cruise will go for 2 hours, returning approximately 3:30. After that, the Princess will remain docked, with the party still going strong. You will be allowed to get off the boat if you so desire, or you will be able to get on the boat to finish the night out right.

Alcohol will be served.

Pre Sale Tickets Available at www.wantickets.com

This event will be 18+

30$ Limited Advance Tickets (Get them before they are gone!)

As many of you are seasoned veteran party goers and festival attendees, you know that the costs involved with doing a boat party are tremendous, especially one with 3 rooms and a lineup as stacked as this one. The ticket price may sound like a lot, but there will not be an event like this anywhere else all year!

Take a Virtual Tour of the Detroit Princess

Posted by beema on May-17-2009 00:39:

you guys realize resolute is on Sunday daytime, right?

chosing between it and Oslo or Volatl doesn't make sense.
both those things end at 4am
resolute starts at 3am

I'm On a Boat presales just sold out

I think they will have more for sale at the festival tho
since there were only 900 presales and boat cap is 1500, and I don't think there are 600 crew members

Posted by phreek on May-18-2009 23:29:

You sure about that? Wantickets has them for $50 plus service fee.

Posted by JoyRyde on May-19-2009 01:12:

What if the boat capsizes? lol

hmm
when I was there it said "6 presales left" and I bought 2.

Then 15 mins later it said "presales sold out"

I guess they just meant for that price bracket, and released some more for more money.

Posted by supersaw abuse on May-19-2009 02:11:

i have no doubt that the boat party would be fun, but $30 was about as much as i was willing to spend. $40 was definitely pushing it, and $50 is just ridiculous

agreed

I'd guess their expenses to be somewhere around $40K at most

if they sell out the whole boat, they stand to make like $60K at least

so the whole "just trying to break even" excuse doesn't really hit home for me

this definitely ain't a Detroit party at heart, but I'll be there anyways so I guess I should shut up.

And you havent even figured in the bar sales. Yes,they are going to make a killing on this. I'm going to stay on dry land and hit up Night Moves.
