The only thing out there right now is from their boat party at WMC but thats a bit of a different sound then when they play big room together.

For instance when john digweed dropped fabric 20...that was the first cd that really made electro house popular. Soon after mark knight, dave seaman, steve lawler, quivver, stel, josh gabriel, john dalhback, everyone was playing electro house. This isnt even way back in the day..this is only a few years back in 05. He led that electro house front. Fast forward a year or so and john went strictly tech house and playing more minimal as well. What do you know but all the same dj's i have named and many others are all playing tech house now following in his foot steps and trend again. Even though on a track per track basis they arent maybe as innovative anymore. But even to this day the direction they take with their musical sound still influences the entire world and sets the stage really. I remember having this same conversation with a few dj's in central record store before it closed in 2007. They still influence everyone greatly man...just now that they have gone tech house, well, everyone kinda waits on gui boratto now. That kinda sucks too.

Would love to hear which Northern Exposure you listened to. They are all pretty amazing. East Coast is still probably my favorite EDM CD and def in my top five of all music genres. I didn't listen to it with the idea that it was going to make me dance. I had more of a connection with each track and the way they were put together. Pretty Brilliant work IMO.

oh, BTW, are their any tentative plans for TAs trying to meet up before the show? Does anyone know the area around Dreams?

For the record: all of the Northern Exposures were good. My favorite S&D sound is their 2002 Delta Heavy prog sound. Also, Fabric 20 was good, but that was made in 2005 when I thought both of them were still good. Sasha's Fundacion comp from 2005 was really slick. The last good set I have heard from S&D was their Buenos Aires set from 2005 (available in MD, I'll post a link later, and yes, I thought their Bonnaroo set was a bit boring).

I think they fell off in 2006. Everything they have touched since 2006 has been shallow, trite, and forgettable imo. I sorta liked Coma because it had some neat sounds, but then Sasha just recycled all those presets into every track on emfire and invol2ver so I got sick of it all quickly.

But everything up until 2006 was at least decent. I especially like Sasha's 1994 Qat Collection.

So I was just on Sasha's MySpace page and Digger's MySpace and personal website. Sasha lists the Atlanta show, but Digweed doesn't on either site although he does list the Denver show. Digweed is definitely confirmed right?? Also, any dress code at Dreams? Thanks all.

Welp, finally got my ticket today so i'm confirmed for brawl. Wish I wouldn't have waited this long to get it, but hopefully it will be worth it. If S&D's performance isn't, hopefully partying hard with everyone will.

Was it ever confirmed that they're playing 6 hours?

Of course Digweed is confirmed. Do you really think we would still be in the biz after 15 years if we put DJ's names on flyers who were not really booked? Especially high profile DJ's like Sasha & Digweed?

The two best parties I've been to in the last year, out of the 30 or 40; Digweed in march at opera, and Sasha Halloween night at Opera. I don't think that is a coincidence. Its not what these guys play, its how they play it. The vibe in a room when they play whether it be solo or as a duo is unmatched, its the reason why we go to parties. If you can't have a good time at a Sasha and Digweed party, then there is something wrong.

I'm curious about dress code as well. Having never been to Dreams and getting rejected from Tongue & Groove for being 'Too Casual' I like to find out dress code in advanced.

Judging by the pics on their website I need to be urban and wear 4 popped collars and 3 gold chains. Is this correct? Or will jeans and a nice t-shirt with black shoes be fine? Gold teeth optional.

I always wear jeans and t-shirt to liquified events. The dress for dubfire at dreams was the same as all events.
