I'm just not understanding the way artists/djs are treated here, not by everyone, just a small, vocal, consistent group of people. So I dont mind being an 'asshole' to people who are assholes to artists, DJs, genres of music of all things. Now if I supported your cause and joined in your toxic to culture beliefs, then yes i'd truly be an asshole as well, or maybe if I didnt say anything and let dickheads attack people who do something musical, then i'd be an asshole then too.

Just think about it, these people are just artists/DJs, they arent stealing anything from you directly (are they?), they arent hurting you, they dont screw up society in the way that the major label crap on radio and tv does. Use ur time on that music, if you want to impact culture in some way. Or you and your TA clique simply need to take your anger out on music and artists in general, there is better game to hunt out there.

If you have some sort of self righteous thing against EDM artists, or artists in general, you're really screwing yourself over by wasting your time on the wrong people. If crapping on artists, music, genres, makes things gravy for you, go shit on the latest Pop Music Product or the shit rock bands that were given some weird obscure name like 'The Fallen Door Hinges' 'Saving Amy Stripes' 'Toothpaste Democracy', in which they didnt even get to choose their own name. Or crap on the 1000 and 1 boardroom produced "artists" in purely mainstream music. So again, I really dont get why you or your buddies waste time shittin on EDM folk in vain, when you could brilliantly be using your time on saving us from the crap on mainstream tv and radio?

The fact you think it's bullshit doesn't give you any right to troll a guy off the forum, especially if lots of people want to talk to him. If a group of trancecrackers pissed all over a thread where Wolf + Lamb were posting, you'd throw every single one of your toys out of the pram.

I don't like this guy's music, but you, idoru and a couple of others have been outright pricks in this thread. It's pretty obvious you thought of Dave Dresden, assumed the forum would cheer you on and came in to start shit.

Posted by Schadenfreude on Nov-18-2009 19:02:

woscar, take it from a master troll...you've gone too far with this one.

Posted by enydo on Nov-18-2009 19:12:

Not having any internet access at the new place causes me to miss all the fun.

daaaaaaamn

Posted by Seppuku on Nov-18-2009 19:13:

Fucking Alex.

Posted by enydo on Nov-18-2009 19:18:

Not that it's his fault we don't have internet yet, but I'll still blame him. Fuck you Alex.

Posted by Seppuku on Nov-18-2009 19:23:

exactly. blame him for everything from now on.

Posted by woscar on Nov-18-2009 19:58:

LOL

I'm not trolling, just speaking my mind. I think this is some really bad music and I can't see how anyone above the age of 15 can enjoy it. Which is why I found it particularly funny when JBJ, a guy who I know has a much more refined taste in music and usually makes fun of stuff like this, took such a big interest in it and the hardware used to produce it.

Why must Mikael and everyone else have to get so butthurt? You're even victimizing him, lol.

SYSTEM-J, don't be such a hypocrite. How is THIS any different than what I've said on this thread? I would really like to see what you would have to say if Tiesto came in here to discuss his new album.

Where would you like me to start? It's a review posted on our website. It only reflects badly on us, and we made the decision to put it up. It may drive Tiesto away from our website, but since it's our website it's our fucking perogative, isn't it?

If you can't tell the difference between writing a scathing review on a website as a senior staff member and what you're doing in this thread, you're either a fucking idiot or too stubborn to see sense.

Posted by Schadenfreude on Nov-18-2009 20:12:

what you don't realize is that JBJ is not talking about the music itself, but production techniques.

This thread is pure troll woscar, why else would you care about Dave Dresden? Are you remotely interested in buying his music? No. You are reviewing something that you would hate no matter what so it is silly.

These forums are dead, and if i am going to have some real fodder to troll, we need to let the people who are posting information that is useful to some on here speak there minds once in awhile.

It would be no different than kaity butting in with a stupid comment in one of you wolf + lamb, culprit lovefests would it now.

I personally cannot stand the music in this thread, but the production convo is actually interesting. Nothing to flame or review here imo.

Posted by woscar on Nov-18-2009 20:18:

Read my post, ffs. I'm not trolling anyone here, I don't intend to start anything. I'm just speaking my mind which is what internet forums are on the first place.

I'm pretty sure that is the exact same thing you did on your review. I'm not condemning it. Fuck, I found it hilarious and I applaud you for saying exactly what you thought of it. Just found it a bit hypocritical of you to give me shit over this thread after that.

Apologies to anyone whose enjoyment of this thread got ruined by my remarks.

I ended up getting a Juno 6.

No patch memory or MIDI, but I can use audio signals to trigger the arpeggiator and get melodies to play in time with Ableton that way. Love the sound of this synth.

Yes, your first post was clearly on topic and had no elements of trolling whatsoever:

I've already pointed out why it's a very different thing to what I did in my review. There are many people on TA, regardless of their musical taste, who want to talk to this guy. You came close to depriving them of that and reflecting badly yet again on TA, which would dissuade more producers from coming here. It's a knock-on effect, and the longer it happens the fewer produces will actually bother with TA at all. And eventually, one of them will be someone you or I care about.

You don't have the authority or the right to make that happen. On TC, I do. Simple.

ok i just listened to this and the some polyphony comparison is remarkably accurate.

JBJ find out how to make this synth and make me a few tools

I never go out of my way to troll, bitch or insult someone on here unless there's a reason to. Minimal elitists coming in here or any thread bitching and moaning or posting their usual elitist drivel/banter is more than enough reason for me to "PLINK PLONK" or whatever.

It's hard to get Petter's exact sound, I've tried a few times before.

Lets not confuse things, I'm not butt hurt, I just think you're a douche bag! There's a distinct difference. This isn't about whether you like the music I'm making that's annoying, it's your continually biased attacks. No one here whether they love or hate our music seems to have a problem with me other than you and 1 or 2 other equally inept fools. You guys obviously love to ruin this forum for everyone else. If I was a moderator on here I would have banned you a long time ago along with your little friends. People like you are unfortunate, and a cancer on this site. You haven't said anything intelligent during this entire thread.
