The problem is the target audience is men from 18-35 and most of them either don't care that he is a cheating man whore or worse the actually think he's even cooler because he is a cheating man whore. There will be little fall out to the companies if they maintain their relationship with Cheetah. |
We forgave Bill Clinton, why not?
This whole Tiger ordeal raises some good moral questions such as "where do you draw the line between athlete and person?"....or "where do you draw the line between art and the artist who created it?"
Do fans of Tiger as an athlete change their opinion of him because of the fact that he is being revealed as one of the biggest players in sports?
I am actually even more interested now to see if he can maintain his exceptional level of competitiveness in light of these problems.

I have always maintaned this attitude towards all entertainers. I follow their professional careers, not their personal ones. I'll continue to watch him on the course, any cheating issues, him and his wife need to deal with those. |

| Originally posted by Spin Laden there should also be a backlash against these house-wrecking, money grubbing hoes. |

| Originally posted by Jem_hadar Yea, unfortunately ill bet that never happens... since our society is so biased when it comes to its view on abusive spouses depending on the gender of the abuser and the victim. And that reminds me, I still need to send you the michael crichton article which deals with this topic specifically. |

So now that a couple of these trollops are probably making money by coming forward, will others do the same with other celebs? Should I go to the Enquire and tell them about my Susan Boyle tryst? Hmmmm.
Indeed this is not a precendent-setting thing, but sometimes these events can facilitate a spike in subsequent ones.
