Ya...he shouldn't really say or even hint at who it is until it's all set in stone. Although I do hate being teased with only a date

But you know you would be furious if he told us he'd booked Gareth Emery for the 31st today, then found out next week that Gareth had to back out before signing because of ASOT 450 conflict or something. Best just to wait until things are finalized.

Well, if it's an unconfirmed booking thats understandable. I would be furious if that happened. It's just all those dates with not a hint to who they are. Lol. I guess patience is a virtue.

Well, I would take any of these guys over Digweed honestly. Those are the type of names I've been talking about. Considering Devin had said it was one not to miss, and his hypes are usually not directed towards trance, I don't know. Unless he's just hyping the event because it's a big dj that has never come here before.

One not to miss to me would be Gareth Emery...but I don't think it's him

Yeah i'm not sure you'd like him. Although he has been playing a bit of deep house recently if you're into that. What kills me is the tech house that he plays as he transitions to techno. It just sounds too robotic and cold.

I would guess Eric Prydz but I doubt he's flying anytime soon.

It's like we are playing a game here. lol. I'd say that pretty much takes out the guys who always come here like Sasha and Ferry. Well, Prydz is a good guess, I'd be up for that, but I doubt it too. If it is, that's something to get excited about. Markus would be awesome amberella, but it hasn't been that long since he came here has it?

Stuff is just so samey, and it's all pretty contrived, uninspired, and soulless. I know Diggers can do better than what he's been playing lately.

I had a blast when him and Sasha were here over the summer, but at the same time I knew I probably wouldn't want to purchase / play / listen to most of those tracks on my own time.

I was trying to remember...but I can't, lol He was in Charlotte twice last year. First time being in April and I think he went to Atlanta right before or right after that show...so that's 9 months---in my mind, that's awhile.

=)

I mostly agree, I pretty much just listen to him for the peaktime techno now. The kinda stuff that him and sasha played around 4am when they were here over the summer.

Fucking madness.

Unfortunately he never plays that during on his radio show and all of his recent mixes seem to be from early in the night.

Just last night he was playing stuff like this:

Quite sure that the DJ Devin is hyping is not Prydz. There is a reason I'm roadtripping to NYC to see him and Lger

Posted by trancension on Feb-07-2010 03:54:

Going to throw my guesses out there...

Prydz or Doorn.

Posted by Seppuku on Feb-07-2010 20:36:

I could go for another epic live show. How about some Orbital or Plastikman?
