So bummed that I missed Jordy's set, but my plane was late and I didn't get to my hotel in SoBe until 10:30. Here now for Markus, though, the place is sardine packed!

shit was horribly packed. we took one of those vip couches though and chilled there all night. my ass actually hurt from sitting down so much. sucks there was zero room to dance anywhere. glenn was on point opening. markus came out firing and the first 3 hours are a complete blur. shit went by so fast. last hour i got tired and was ready to leave but stayed until the end. $7 water / $8 beer. which is reasonable considering its wmc. big lolololol when sander walked in and everyone rushed him. lol. i stayed far away from there. dont need another picture with the man and its not like hes gonna care what i have to say anyway. no idea how long sander stayed. pretty cool that he hit up this party but it makes me a little more pissed that hes not doing dusk till doorn. oh well. also big lol to all the folks who would not leave markus alone with their fucking cell phones. he isnt gonna play every request you have so fucking leave the man alone and let him do his job. sucks i had to skip out on schossow too but i wasnt gonna give up my spot with how packed it was in there. anyone know how he did?

videos are uploading... got a couple of glenn and a bunch of markus... will probably take a couple days to get it all uploaded.

Well, I've just woken up and I'm reasonably sure I'm still drunk

Last night was fucking ACE.

Glenn did indeed do a spot on job of opening up and Schulz definitely started firing it out quite early. That being said, I really enjoyed the first hour of his set. We stayed away from the main crowd and chilled by one of the booths near the bar, we had enough room to do some mega fist pumping action, but everyone passing through was a little annoying.

And fucking lol at SvD .

I went upstairs to catch Schossow, and to be fair he was really good, the vibe was totally different from downstairs though. So it took a while for the music to settle in, but after it did, it was awesome. The crowd were pretty shit though, lots of guidos just standing in front of the booth because they think its cool. At times it was actually just me there dancing and everyone else was just standing around.

All in all though, a top night!

I couldn't go last night due to problems at home.

Markus told me that his set gonna be part of the World Tour in April.

that was an awesome fucking night! i wish markus hadn't drained me so much! was dead tired by the time kaeno came on.

i tried to check out Tritonal, but the vibe in that upper room didn't feel the same. although when markus played songs that got occasionally quiet during that hour, i could hear tritonal and they sounded like they were rocking that room.

all in all, excellent start to the birthday! now...probably going to go back to sleep. fucking drained...drove 10 hours...hung out with the relatives...danced for 7 hours...soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired.

markus nailed it and so did richie

Markus played really good IMO. Last night & his 2006 WMC Armada set are my 2 favorites, for different reasons. 2006 was total progressive bliss. Last night was straight up TRANCE: hard, dark & even melodic but all bass driven with tons of energy. Markus really brought his A-game & I loved it.

i wish he woulda stayed either a bit darker or that he would of thrown in more classics. all the classics he played (out of the blue, rank1, tomcraft - lonliness, nothing but you) were all new remakes. instead he played 95% new new new new shit. which dont get me wrong was awesome. but i just wanted some classicsssssss!

either way he fuckin banging it hardcore. especially that first hour. props to markus. that shit was a fun ass night. he did good at the sirius party too.

and i still gotta see markus 2 more times during conference? spin + ultra. fucking guy is gonna take out a restraining order on me. lol. im following his ass around, even though it wasnt intentional.
