I'm loving the club's name... Awesome job at ripping off the name from Beatport's Beta club in Denver. Bravo!

Threw Gareth Emery tickets online for tranceaddict people first.
Pretty much offers a 5 pack of tickets for $25. So it works out to $5 a head, id do it for free but then there is no way to keep count of who is actually coming. Therefore I will throw in lne by pass and a coat check ticket for free. This pretty much bring you down to like $2 per person if you use that. I hope you don't mind paying $2 to see Emery.
Thursday Dec 16

Heard it was quite a mess with them not having their liquor license and overselling due to last minute decrease in their legally allowed capacity. Didn't hear whether things turned out OK and am eagerly awaiting news.
no license?! oh boy!
To be honest, with all the bullshit that Beta had to deal with and all the last minute restrictions they were enforced, they did a pretty damn good job if you ask me.
Beta is one of the nicest clubs I've been too recently. The sound system and lighting rig is top notch and one of the best in the market! The lasers were great and the back of the DJ booth along with the front had some crazy good LED panels! This is speaking from experience as a General Manager of a nightclub in Toronto and hosting events I know how hard it can be to please everyone. I can go on and on but I would highly recommend that everyone check this place out!
The crowd was very young, but this was obviously expected. People were friendly and everyone was dancing, felt like a new age rave, and I mean that in a good way!
Hope things work out and I wish Ryan great success!
Nice, thanks for the review, Oz. Coming from you that means a lot!!
Sounds like their big opening night was a success despite a few kinks to work out. Now I'm even more anxious to attend an event, ASAP !

from the pictures on facebook the club looks pretty wide open and the DJ booth looks sick.
club was amazing inside and the acoustics were great. overall i was really impressed by the layout and all that, but the line was ridiculous. i know the circumstances and everything but the door staff did a terrible job regardless. they were just picking random people and letting them in before me even though i was standing directly in the front of the line for like 25 mins. i was lucky i even got in. and i felt the sound system was missing the BOOM i'm used to at most clubs. it seemed like there was barely any lower end at all in the sound department. but most people didn't mind, steve put on a show. i hope that beta neighbouring places like chainsaw isn't going to affect the bass forever. that would disappoint me
