I consider Andy Blueman good trance but at the same time i consider good trance (to be honest slightly better trance) things that are trance also but sound completely different.
This is a fucking moster.
And this used to be real uplifting trance
And i could post anything about Airbase, i think it's the only producer that was and is still great, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Oakenfold, PvD... they made great tracks but now their music is lame. Airbase keeps being on top of his game.
Well i am going to add another gem by a dear Trance Addict.
Airwave, Lolo, Fire & Ice... who cares you've made some of the best music i can remember

And if he posted on this forum there'd be a lot of people likely trying to win his respect. People are generally fake like that. Shit I could prob make a new account with his name and aNYthing would be the first person trying to befriend me. Anyway yeh, it doesn't matter either way. |
Here's a question:
WTF happened to Chicane?

It's not "pointless" to argue, at least not for me. My mind has been changed a few times, and I've opened up to music I might not have considered.
I'm not sure what all the "Music is subjective, so why argue?" people really want. Without arguments here, we'd just have people making big lists of tracks and giving a thumbs up or thumbs down based on their "personal, subjective" and therefore undiscussable tastes.
Rather boring, no?

Funny thing is I think theres not enough uplifting anymore.. but then I grew up in the Gatecrasher era so that's the sound I'm always looking out for. Simon Patterson does some good stuff, Aly and Fila too.. but most of what you hear these days has more of the techy edge than uplifrting

| What the flying fuck is wrong with people in this forum. What is so hard about just letting people enjoy different music than you without having to judge them as if they're "below" you for liking something else. Why people considering other music to be "emotionally pre-pubescent" or relating it to gay furry is your own problem, keep it to your fucking selves. Who do you think you're impressing by writing long winded posts preaching on how a style of music isn't good because it doesn't fit what you consider to be good music? How can someone possibly convince themselves that their own musical tastes are suddenly a universal, subjective view on what's good and bad in music? As if anyone who disagrees or maybe likes something you don't like is wasting their time on "amateur" music, instead of listening to what you like, which is the real good stuff? |
