Also that was sarcasm, in case you didn't notice. Breaking up somebody's family for revenge? Good idea

AJ needs to come here and tell his side of the story

He doesn't have to and personally, I wouldn't if I was in his position. This is a personal thing and in all reality should be kept personal. Unfortunately, some people don't think before they push the submit button for a new thread.

No he doesn't. AJ doesn't owe us anything. What he needs to do is protect his children from any potential damage coming from all this (assuming that the extramarital thing was not already above board with his wife). Other then that and keeping his life together he doesn't need to do shit.

Posted by E2EK1EL on Mar-17-2011 14:59:

I know he doesn't have to ... would be better.

Exactly.

This is shocking news if it is true. Also, thread was pretty entertaining to read but this should have been kept personal.

pffffff if he didn't want his family to be broken up he should've thought about that before cheating AND posting on a public forum about it LOL....anyways if that was me I would definitely want someone to let me know. His wife deserved to know...

I don't see how that would benefit him.

That's a bullshit copout for people wanting to justify their vindictiveness. If his wife genuinely knew nothing about what was going on and was as the OP contends "happily married" then telling her acomplished nothing but creating instability, pain, and unhappiness where it previously didn't exist. Moreover, it does this for no benefit... no one comes out better off. Telling his wife is a selfish and vindictive act; trying to fool oneself into believeing they did her a favour is just an attempt to avoid facing the consequence of their vengence.

You know how things are, even if the person is wrong and etc ...

You gotta hear both side of the story, before anyone jumps to any conclusion.

Everyone deserves a fair trial until proven guilty.

Lets just say, I know someone whos going through the same case as AJ and indeed it's a nightmare for the kids.

So if your wife was cheating....you'd rather it continue with you not knowing anything? aiight cool. I guess we are different in that regards then...

What I like is calling you all huge retards. So I'll keep reading as long as you keep being obnoxious gossipers.

Wow. Drama.

If all is as described then I can completely understand the starting of this thread -- if your partner is dishonest with you, and is a regular on a messageboard where he also starts threads (Valentines) with your picture then it is absolutely within her right to do the opposite, an "anti-Valentines-this-is-the-truth-as-I-see-it" kind of thread. Is it 'right'? What is 'right' really? Everyone will have a subjective view of this, myself included -- varying from those who have been in her shoes ("yea! spill the dirt!") or those who have been in his shoes ("omg! plz keep this personal!") to those that who come out of the woodwork just to give their $0.02 only to disappear back under a rock soon after. That said, I do agree it's private info but when you're hurt you're not exactly thinking completely straight and there is no absolute-best-way to handle any of these situations... too many variables of which we are not privy to.

Although...she'd probably get much better advice posting on here

I'm not going to comment about the whole cheating thing, not my business, what I find interesting is how differently the women view things/actions as opposed to how the men view it.

Says a lot about how the different sexes react to emotional distress.

Posted by Scoops on Mar-17-2011 15:39:

yea in regards to cheating.....

Eating isn't Cheating

if it is true, do you think you could keep the existence of your kid secret for so long with all your friends? it's like deleting your kid.

In other societies this is nothing out of the ordinary, you guys make it sound like 2012!

Hellz yeah I would. I'm principally concerned with my families happiness; why the hell would I want to disrupt that?
