I'll be surprised if they break 20 000, which incidentally isn't even close to the capacity of the temp stadium at the hippodrome in montreal (which took over a year to build for only 2 shows.) To be honest they won't come close to 20 000...if deadmau5 gets 10k people it will be a huge success. |
it is, i just wanted to inflate the numbers to show that even if he gets 20k, it is still less than the attendance the other band gets for 2 hows here. (yes i know U2 has something to do with it...but the gate for these shows will be comparable to what the ufc did in toronto...which was 55000+ in the dome)

check the post above you.
bal en blanc couldn't even get 15k this year.
not to mention cheap tickets are going for 500$ a pop from the band's website.

my opinion of arcade fire is that they are better in intimate venues and don't really have a sound that translates well to big shows.
Their music is a little "different", and each band member plays about 4 to 5 different instruments each during the show.
Not for me, but it still beats keisha.
what a long ass thread.
^^^ I bet he typed that while playing in a bathtub full of money. Bastard
i usually save moneybaths for tuesdays and thursdays, wednesday is cocaine and hookers night.
I tried bathing in money once but pennies up the ass really hurt

| Originally posted by d-form huh? it seems to back up his comments from what I can see. Concert promoters are losing money, ticket sales are down, seats are empty. Now they need to come up with other ways of making money. Pretty muc what he said. |
