Dang, that's scary if someone got stabbed!

Still tired. I don't think I could do it again if Markus decides to go for a 3rd extended set. Gotta get something to eat and crash out a little more. Nice to see GPC, Sweetcandy girl and hanging out a bit with Quazar and MelBeat. I was looking around at 7ish and wondering which TA's were still there.

I have to go through the videos I took but I uploaded the last song of the night. We're #1, we're #1! at the 2 minute 38 second mark

I'm not sure what happened exactly, but when I made my way to the main floor, I saw one of the guys who got stabbed in the leg get carried out. I didn't know two other people got stabbed too though. That totally sucks! I hope nobody is seriously hurt as well. I think Avalon should do a soft pat down to check for weapons at the least.

Last night was a complete monster of a set! It was the best I've ever experienced to date .. and I had the best view for the laser show, right behind the lighting technician

what a freaking blast! stayed til 7... awesome set and energy from markus.

I think it's time for Markus to get a new encore song. That's been the most common one he uses for a long time now.

PS. I hate you all for being able to go.

i requested it in the request thread on his forum so i'm sure it's because of that. he played A LOT of the requested songs.

As far as Markus's set....HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!! The man banged it so damn hard. Unfortunately we didn't make it past 4 as we had been up since 8 am that morning. But the crowd's energy that I felt in there last night was surreal. Honestly I've seen Markus 20-30 times and easily byfar his greatest night. The buzz in the club was phenomenal and I wish I could have bottled it up and taken it home with me.

Kristina Sky, if you read this, please stop playing rock and vocal songs. You're a good DJ but your playlist needs alot of work. No offense or trying to be a dick, but your style didn't compliment Markus's at all.

got there at 12:30, waited in the will call line until 2:30am to get in...longest I've ever had to wait for the Avalon. Oh well it was all worth it once I got in. I stayed till 6:50 ish and decided to call it quits. LOL...i found it funny how it ended even later than EDC with only 1 DJ.

Thanks for posting this. I only lasted until 5:30. Markus' set definitely set the bar so high it's going to be hard to even come close. Kristina's set was enjoyable, similar to other sets of hers; of course we were making similar comments to fantasyextasy's.

Consider yourself lucky.. I got there at 9:30 with several of my friends who decided to go last minute, and we waited til 1:30 to get in! I haven't been to Avalon when it's that packed so I didn't know what to expect.. But basically, after waiting two and a half hours, we finally got 10 feet from the entrance, and had to wait an hr and a half more lmao.. Good thing Markus brought the fire all night and made us forget all about it. Left at 6 with the energy still going strong.

I know this song has been overplayed as of late but the highlight of the night for me was when Markus dropped Punk, and it was perfect timing! Everyone from front to back was going bananas! Between the Rays was pretty nuts too

I stayed until the end (7:30-ish), and man oh man that was fun. Completely exhausting, but so much fun. Markus was at the top of his game, and kept his energy up all night. I didn't even see him take a pee break!

between the rays was awesome and i'm glad he played stranger to stability as well.was a while since i last heard that one.

Nice meeting you GPC. I noticed you cause of your avatar, haha. I left at 5AM but I saw you KO'ed pretty early.

Markus' set is going to be hard for any to beat ever. Was easily the best set I've ever heard, and he banged it out from the beginning. The vibe from the club was amazing, seemed like everyone I noticed was there for Markus and the music. My favorite part of the night was at the end, when he played most of the requested songs from his forum. Feel so lucky to have been able to experienced not just one but two of Markus' extended sets. Can't wait for him to come back to LA again!
