Just did a quick google to see if the studio was deemed to be safe and reopened but it looks like the stage crashing incident took place at a studio on Kipling. So if they were going to use the ones on Eastern Ave, not sure why it affected any of the Carnivale events in the first place...?

Anyways if it were me, for the hotel booking I'd just do it via one of the online sites that allow cancellations up to 24h prior to the checkin. Or don't book anything and use a site like hotwire that lets you save money by booking late.

most hotels offer 24h cancellation policy

I don't need a hotel, some friends do... they could cancel, but would much much less hassle to book and forget rather than playing the booking/cancellation game day of or prior.

I bought my ticket online, how can I sell it?

Can I just give anybody a printed version of the ticket?

I wonder how many people are going to get stabbed by poppies during PLUR hugs?

Not trying to spread rumours or anything, but would like to know if it is true or not...

Sneak playing the party now with Cox because he missed last weekend's party?

Mainly want to know because I was hoping for a decent set time for Coxy for a few hours at least, not split between 2 headliners, this Milano chap and probably local opener. Same promoters, sounds plausible.

That's what I've been hearing as well. It's on Sneak's facebook page, so pretty much confirmed.

Just checked, and yup, that's what it says.

I hope they scratch any local opener (no offense to whomever it was or could have been, I'm sure they're talented and good enough to have made the bill), and let Milano open and give decent set times to Coxy and Sneak (Would prefer more Coxy than Sneak however)

Posted by Mach X on Nov-03-2011 18:34:

No more Milano I guess... good to see Jamie Kidd on the bill. And Downsview confirmed...

Posted by mickmack on Nov-03-2011 21:38:

from FB page:

CARL COX (12:11-3:44am)

CARL COX & DJ SNEAK BACK 2 BACK (3:44-5am)

DJ SNEAK (11:11-12:11am)

JAMIE KIDD (10-11:11am)

Posted by Mach X on Nov-03-2011 21:49:

1) So be there by midnight
2) Only till 5am?!
3) What odd set times!

Posted by CODE on Nov-03-2011 23:15:

lol milano got booted for Sneak. Jamie is now the opener.

The room used this time is smaller and has better acoustics.

I have no doubt this party is gonna go off.

Carl cox vs sneak sounds really stupid if thats true.

Ya that has to be false!

God forbid a DJ plays anything other than what they are known for!

Won't somebody think of the children!

Well to be honest, that is sorta dumb.

People pay upwards of $50 to hear Carl and his sound. It's like paying to see Metallica play bubble gum pop music.....

If he wants to play something he's not known for, do a mix and release it, don't do it to paying customers that have expectations.

Posted by samhouse on Nov-04-2011 17:02:

Who cares what he plays...

he ALWAYS delivers...except for that last Kool Haus set at Halloween last year.....and even that was good...just not brilliant.

I got faith in Cox to pull off whatever is planned properly. Who knows maybe him and Sneak will sumo it out for control of the decks? Added value if you ask me...

Cox is a perfect DJ for this party. I hope this goes past 5 AM....
