i just want to add a quick note here, considering out of all of us i am the only one actually fighting this war...
i am not anti-arab... i am not anti-jew. i am not anti-american by any means either.
it seems many of you just like to attack bush quickly without even thinking about what is going on here. many of you seem to forget that in my country, one man cannot do all these things single-handedly, we have a system of checks-and-balances.... which means, if bush suggested it, there were a couple of hundred people in congress who agreed....
what many of you fail to see here, is that this is not "just a popularity exercise" for bush... Saddam Hussein has been bluntly breaking UN rules since he's been in power. During desert storm circa 1990, the first bush did not eradicate Saddam from power, strictly because the US had been granted authority by the UN (which is comprised of people from all of YOUR nations, by the way) to go into Iraq and invade and do whatever means necessary until the UN would be permitted to continue with inspections... This "war" was carried out quickly and the UN inspections were opened again before Saddam was captured, and that is why he was not taken care of the first time around.
Now, for all you Saddam sympathizers, let me let you in on a little secret... this man will put his own starving civillians AROUND his weapons depots, and around his chemical warfare manufacturing facilities, JUST SO the USA doesn't bomb them... he knows we WON'T kill innocent civilians. this man, saddam, has his people surgically altered to look like him, JUST so we can never positively ID him via sniper or what have you... This oh-so-wonderful man you speak of, is one of the only people in the world actively pursuing and creating chemical warfare, something the rest of the world wishes it could "un-invent".
And for all of you who think americans are out to kill innocent people, i tell you its not that innocent when you are out there, and you are trying to complete your mission. You are scouting, and you see a poor mother hunched over her children with no father, kids all screaming. Yes, its sad, but how do you think i feel when she pulls an AK-47 out from under her shawl and points it at me??? is she THEN innocent? if she hadn't have done that, she would have been brought back to our AirBase and given food, a bath, and clothing for herself and her children. Yeah, we are real "monsters"... 
I think the real perpetrator here is the corrupted government that tells her that americans are bad, when in reality all we are trying to do is oust the brandish dictator that is making HER life poverty, that is denying HER a chance to succeed and flourish.
*when the government pits the people against a country, and ARMS its people for conflict, then those people that die are NO LONGER "innocent civilians"!!!
a lot of you fail to realize that. what happened on september 11th of last year WAS innocent people dying... all the people in that building were not carrying weapons with the intent to kill anyone. However, in the case of my aforementioned mission, that is NOT an innocent victim.
i can cite back to the vietnam war, all the viet-kongs that were dressed as civilians... it was nearly impossible for us to tell who was the enemy... but we wouldn't shoot unless they shot first..
most of you would be singing an entirely different tune right now if your country had been attacked. If Hussein had dropped some chem-warfare on your country, i bet you'd be cheering Bush on. In a sense this is "preventative warfare", because we are attempting to prevent a crazed dictator from creating a genocide or another world war.
now answer me this you pseudo-philosophers:
if you knew that an irrational man was creating large amounts of chemical warfare, purchasing many nuclear weapons, has a history of belligerence, and seems to be "stocking up" in his weapons depots while at the same time DENYING the UN inspectors the ability to go searching through them, don't you think you'd be suspicious?
and don't tell me that saddam has just now recently allowed the UN inspectors to search... thats a bunch of B.S.... Saddam was re-locating all his weapons during that time the UN was not allowed to pass. Now they are all stored in civilian housing and schools. Yes, you heard me correct, SCHOOLS. What kind of noble leader stores nuclear warheads next to chalkboards? The kind you want to take out of power.
don't question what i've stated here, its all fact i've seen with my own eyes. Take from this what you will, but its a damn mess over there. many of you think you "know it all" b/c you read the paper or watched CNN... or maybe your class in school "discussed" it. But if you haven't been over there, then i don't feel you have a real valid arguement here.
... and it all comes down to propaganda and religious wars.
