the price is fair enough

Posted by djeso on Nov-23-2002 06:56:

Time to see Tiesto one more time, we'll see what he brings this time.

Peace

ESO

The price is fair enough? Well, considering Tiesto's New Year's gig is costing $250 AMERICAN in New York for the barest of ticket packages, I'd say we're doing quite well.

Also considering it's Toronto, 25 dollars Canadian to see the master of trance isn't a bad deal at all. Plus, the guv and kool haus get so goddamn packed anyway that I don't bother drinking because it takes 20 mins to get to the bar. And drinks are always at least 6 bucks and above....bah....I'll just check out Tiesto and have some water. Tiesto's gigs in Calgary and Edmonton are like 15 dollars so....

Can you bring cameras into the Guvernment and Kool Haus? I never bothered before, but I need to immortalise Tiesto's gig. It's my first time with him.

Posted by BANDIT on Nov-23-2002 16:49:

haha why buy drinks @ the guv or kool haus they are soo watered down its like drinking water, I just stick to beer when I go there or drink before somewhere else before I come...

but the lines in the kool haus for booze are not that bad as to the guv...

Rasta

yea
the Guvernment was horrible...20 min bar wait....drinking it is another challenge itself. Ive seen so many ppl spill some of their drinks haha.

hope its just as good or better!

p.s. $250 US for new years?!?! and i thought guvernment was bad....

Smiley DJ Wicked!

I am definitely looking forward to this Exclusive party that once again is going to rock the house in T.O. I remember the Koolhaus, I was set on fire by the kick ass tunes he played, I remember PPk very well as well as Rapture, Hide u...and many more...

The # 1 Dj is going to hit the vibe up in Guvernment! Can't wait!

See ya all there......Peace!

Posted by trancendental on Nov-25-2002 09:03:

Someone please tell when are they going to sell the tickets. Thanks

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Nov-25-2002 14:05:

Once again....tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.ca (or a local box office) very soon for $25 in advance. Tickets at the door are going to be $35. I believe I have mentioned this about 4 times so if you don't know, it always helps to scroll back a few pages.

Anyway, the tickets are not on sale yet. With only 19 days or so to go, that's a little strange.

Posted by Skipper on Nov-25-2002 23:52:

Tickets are now on sale via ticketmaster. Comes to $31.25 with fees and all that bullshit.

Posted by Durafei on Nov-25-2002 23:57:

Holy shit.... 6.25 service charge.. mother ******s !

oh well, i'll get the tickets tomorrow probably

Posted by DigDeep on Nov-26-2002 01:48:

Oh well.......i say $50 is a fair price for Tiesto.

Posted by brunette on Nov-26-2002 02:09:

wait wait..
I called a couple of usual outlets where they sell tickets and they said they should have tickets probably on THURSDAY.. for $25 initially

Posted by SAGE2635 on Nov-26-2002 02:36:

so this $6.25 service charge is to have your tickets mailed to your door right???

Posted by monishb on Nov-26-2002 04:24:

why is there diffrent prices for the tickets. is there a diffrent division in the club for higher prices??

Posted by monishb on Nov-26-2002 05:19:

i just purchased the tix online. should be here in a week through mail.

Posted by mariachickita on Nov-26-2002 16:12:

Exclamation TICKETS

woohoo i got me some sweet tickets from ticketmaster

but whats with that silly surcharge?

rip-off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but i guess $25 isn't bad for tiesto!

and btw its only 11:10am and they already sold out for the first 500 (which were $25) - so you guys better get them while they are still $30

have a nice day

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Nov-26-2002 17:23:

WHAT??? the 25 dollar ones are already sold out!??!?! What the fuck is that?

They haven't even been on sale for 24 hours yet! I was planning on getting them at around 5pm after seeing my professor in office hours. Fuck, by then, all of them will be gone. THis is going to be an insane goddamn event.

Goddamit...I can't believe those tix are sold out. Now I'm going to end up paying like $40.....but I guess Tiesto IS worth that much. I'd probably spend $75 to see him.

Posted by Durafei on Nov-26-2002 17:37:

I don't think Ticketmaster got all of 500 first tickets... They probably got like 200. So I'm pretty sure you can still get some 25$ ones at the stores...

Posted by hansolo on Nov-26-2002 17:40:

Durafei, stores dont have tickets yet. Not a 100% but I think Ticketmaster gets all 500. Think that is what happened with Sasha. Stores now have a 2-3 dollar charge as well so instead of $28 you pay $29 to ticketmaster.

Posted by Durafei on Nov-26-2002 17:48:

I dunno Brett, I dunno. I mean how is this possible that 500 people found out about tickets at Ticketmaster and bought them, before even ONE TA(and I would think that TAs would find that info first) found out about that? That just sounds too unrealistic.

The reason I don't want to buy at Ticketmaster is because of $6 service. I mean WTF is that? 20% service charge ! That's unheard of ! I will probably end up buying there, but I fuckin' hate this ! I'm going to wait till tomorrow see if stores get the tickets, and if so, get the tickets there.. If stores don't get tickets by friday, ticketmaster it is !

Posted by Wurm on Nov-26-2002 18:01:

There will be cheap tickets at the usual outlets

Posted by King_Mack on Nov-26-2002 18:11:

Rasta

and which outlets would this be? specifically in the east end of toronto...
