Cool

How about ALL of you quit complaining, bitching and whining like lil virgins and listen to your own shit, respect other's likes/dislikes, enjoy the parties and stop this bullshit, immature, annoying flame war!?

*NOT JUST A SUGGESTION!!*

Posted by Flec on Dec-02-2002 21:15:

you obviously missed the point of my post

talla isnt catering to the minority of us who have had the chance to lisen to his trance energy performance... hes playing for the majority who have yet to lisen to the amazing track selection he used at trance energy

he cant please everyone, and from the look of it he pleased everyone except for a small group

KarateKid

wells .. that's the Viva crowd for ya anyways .. most of those ppl there are there to hear uplifting and epic trance.. the DJ has to play to the crowd right .. ?

ok well that's 2 djs's out of how many DJ's out there in the world? 1000's? or milions?to be precisie your quote was something along the lines of: "most DJ's don't change their tracklists within 2 months"? wasn't it? keep going give me actual tracklistings of all the sets that Tiesto and Blank and Jones did, but no let me do that. Let me just use an example of blank and jones, let's see how well your theory works.

Blank & Jones - In Da Mix 11/02
21.11.02 20 - 21 Uhr

Icecream (M.I.K.E. Remix) M.I.K.E. vs. John OO Flemming

Blank & Jones - In Da Mix 09/02
29.09.02 20 - 21 Uhr

Titel Artist

Crazy, Sexy, Marvellous (Hennes & Cold Remix) Paffendorf
Time & Time Again (Megara Vs. DJ Lee Remix) Fragma
The Hardest Heart Blank & Jones feat. Anne Clark
The Dawn Ultra
Dreaming Of You (Flutlicht Remix) The Thrillseekers
3 RD Dimension Signum feat. Katana
Innocence (PvD TPOD Mix) Joker Jam
Cafe Del Mar (Marco V. Remix) Energy 52
Sky Falls Down (A. van Buuren Remix) Oceanlab feat. Justine Suissa
Pit Stop Cape Town

I am sorry but your theorgy failed with these Dj's, the only similar track I see here is "The Hardest Heart Blank & Jones feat. Anne Clark" and the only reason that is, because it's their own production.

wow ok, i honestly dont feel like proving my theory to you so ill just say you won <-- because that whole part of the argument is insignificant

the main point of my original post was that most people havent herd talla @ te so therefore they didnt care if it was the same or not

you had no defense so you hit me by trying to disprove my theory good job.

as much as i love Hartec and what he spins .. that club doesn't fill up till after 1:30-2am which by then his set is over ..

if you don't believe me you can even ask Tatgirl when she went to see Fergie. i know it sounds like a generalization, but again it's just what i think from observation ..

Wow you can cut the tension and the stupidity with a knife around here

dude u missed the point, I never said Talla was tech-trance. Hordash said that!

c'mon u r smarter than that, his set @ viva had nothing 2 do with tech-trance, he is one of pioneers but his latest sets got almost nothing to do with tech-trance. Take a listen to his older stuff, now you telling me Tallas got nothing do to with tech-trance?

..............................
So many other absurd comments that piss me off but fuck it I aint wasting my time

Thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all, thankyou for the kind words!!!. All I can say is that it was a great night at Viva, the vibe was STRONG!!, people were happy, the music was solid from start to finish. Talla was a great guy and played a good selection of tracks that really turned the crowd ON!!! I think he really enjoyed playing for you and was pretty impressed with the club - if he's impressed then we have to be extatic that we have a place to go every Friday that rates right up there internationally. Special thanks to all who came early to hear some nasty-ass Italian Hardstyle, ain't gonna hear that in any other club in this freakin' City. I probably should have blended into the more melodic stuff a bit earlier, but the hard shit just kept flowin', next thing I knew it was 1:30.

In response to your requests I would like to mix a special extended set just for Tranceaddict.com and make it available for download only on this site. Yeah or Nah???

Later all, hopefully I'll see you at the next Temporal Rhythm event.

'at a boi Hartec, respect for the hard beats you dropped, I loved it!

Bring on the HARDSTYLE set bro! I'm looking 4ward 2 it

Posted by Durafei on Dec-03-2002 00:47:

Btw, as far as familiar sets go, when Marco V was here you(TranceArmada) recognized at least 90 minutes of his set.. Yet I don't remember you complaining that his set was similar to his previous sets, though it was.

Hartec: omfg, yes! i was so surprised that hardstyle was being thrown down there! wow! i seriously would be honoured if a live set of yours was available. some tracks i recognized from various sets (lady dana, technoboy more specifically) but some of the others i've never heard before in my life, but loved them too! i just wish i didn't live so damn far away from viva, i would be there every friday night to go crazy man, what a night, surprised by supreme hardstyle, owned by amazing trance. surrounded by friends new and not so new.

best.
night.
evar. (so far )

to prove it, i am now uber-sick! *hack cough* now that's when you know it was a killer party

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed dancing to your set at Viva. I am really looking forward to hearing your mix whenever it becomes available.

Posted by OrZonE on Dec-03-2002 05:11:

OH YEAH!!!

The first time I ever came to Viva you were playing some sick set! And I've got just the word to describe all of your sets - RELENTLESS!!!

Record the set, and plz don't forget the tracklist, cuz I don't recognize most of the stuff you play

yes that is correct, but if I think really hard I can tell you almost every single track that Talla dropped. Marco dropped really hard shit and it was actually "tech-trance"! and for the most part they were brand new tunes he had just gotten, I knew all that cause I try to keep up to date with all the stuff that marco-v plays where as I barelly researched Talla's info. And marco-v did not drop a nearly exact set to what his sets were 2 months ago. He dropped a variety of stuff, aprox 75 other minutes of his set had tunes I never even heard of before! there!
