even if he doesn't plenty of people would gladly give him tunes as hes famous
he even makes some decent tunes
yet he continues to voluntarily play shite as well as old shite

and he must get very bored as he plays stupid jingles and backspins and various other unsavoury acts behind the decks

why don't he play quality?
i still have some respect tho, he plays some good tunes from time to time long before they're available

angelic - can't keep me silent

Reason: Jules is a tit.

PvD IS GOD

wowwwwwwwwwww, what a night,im only home now and my head is absoutly thumping and ive another day of drinking since its st.particks day,pvd was absoutly fuckin brillant last nite,he is fucking class.

armin & ferry were savage, looked as if they enjoyed it,sum1 in the crowd threw a Glasgow Celtic jersey at the stage and ferry picked it up and put it over his shoulders, was cool.

Judge Julie is the biggest gimp excuse of a "superstar dj" ever to play in ireland, cant keep me silent? wtf???? thats stuff u hear on top of the pops! marco v was ace, dropped coldplay clocks, went down v.well.pvd also dropped Michelle Nicol vs colplay - clocks,he finished off with nothing but you.

anyway thats my two cents,im off to get absoutly hammered, ahhhhhhhh drink,drink,drink....

happy Paddy's day!

Christ on a bike

That was stupidly good. Pity Tall Paul's set wasn't broadcast, I caught the last half hour n thought it was good (walked in to Mirco De Govia - Things That Matter), better than I expected. 2fm didnt even play all of JJ's set, which included one of it's high points in finishing with Storm - Time To Burn.

And what has Ireland got against Marco V? Only a 45 minutes set, of which only 30 minutes gets broadcasted. Also finished with a stormer in Silverbath.

AvB n Ferry...well, it couldn't go wrong could it? First few tracks blew me away, specially Eye Of Horus. Got pretty tired during it though n went upstairs half way through (either that or pop an E ), from where everyone sang along to the definitive sound of Punk. Class.

And then there was PvD. Good God. Arctic n Dreamland being in his first 3/4 tracks, we knew what we were in for. Then at midnight we enter Paddy's Day on a serious fucking high ; Born Slippy!! Throw in Butterfly, If You Want Me, Alive, Nothing But You, that evil sounding track which remixes Missed Beat or uses it's vocals (ridiculously danceable too), and well...

ROLL ON NEXT GODSKITCHEN!!

(What did PvD play as an encore? I left a couple of minutes early)

Posted by gatecrasher on Mar-17-2003 21:57:

The missed beat tune is called

Silvester - Hardbeats

Quality track, I am nearly sure he also played NU-NRG - Take Your Air

Fabio Mc - Return Of Memory (BXR)

Posted by irishclubbing on Mar-20-2003 23:05:

i think you've aLL flamed jules enough (hes a dick *cough*)

anyhow, i havent listened to marco v yet but i know its gonna be a stormer of a set, the avb and ferry set has its moments but i've heard better from both of them.
