i wouldnt really be able to answer the average question, it can snow any month here but usually july and august are 80-100, may-june around the 70s with lows in 30s and highs in 90s


temp that morning was 55, warmed up to 85 4 hours later (this was yesterday), then a storm came in and today we only got to 65 ~shrug~ the saying here is "if you dont like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change" july and august are sunny and dry usually though.

Was in the high desert last weekend (3500 feet altitude) and it was 85 during the day, 35 at night.

I love the inner part between the Cascades and the Rockies. Weather is random as shit.

Sunday there a big ass storm rolled in from the northwest, pretty far north, lightening striking all around in the distance, and it kept moving south east, but then randomly it turned around and headed back northwest and hit us.

It's winter here and it was a sunny 20C today (68F). My favourite time of year

I really really do not like that june/july/august is called winter in the "southern" hemisphere.


You should just have col summers and hot winters to confuse global climate change deniers even more.

Actually, I find it even more confusion because there are no seasons where I live - it's just dry season and wet season. Whenever someone asks me what season it is in the Southern hemisphere, I have to remember that it's winter in December in the Northern hemisphere (because of Christmas flicks), do the maths, and then mirror the result.

I mean, it's a bit colder than usual now, but I tend to associate it with the dry season, not with the winter

Well, it's not exactly the most pleasant thing there is to look at, but I can't imagine why someone would faint at the sight of it. And you're Australian, of course it won't scare you off or anything, I'm sure there are bigger larvae in Aussieland that can probably kill you

It must leave quite the scar though, judging by the picture... specially in someone's scalp
