Anyway, I'm down for the b-day celebration, as I don't think I have anything planned. If need be, I could bring a couple of monitors up, as well, if equipment is needed. Maybe the cdj too.

Last night was fun times. GHOSH, Shawn and I went to the springs to play. There were some technical difficulties w/ the tables/needles during Ghosh's set, but they were resolved, fortunately. Shawn dropped a sick set of unreleased tracks, and impressed the promoter enough to get booked for the Baby Anne show on Feb. 26th. My set was fun, building from prog into the old school, almost cheesy, Tiesto trance. All three of us will be playing early in the morning at the Baby Anne party, so I guess it was a resounding success. Could have had more people, but the sound was good, and we all had a fun time.

what flirting???? I'm glad u had a blast last night wish i was there to see the set whet cheesey trance did ya play?

i hate to say this but i would actually like to hear an Alice Deejay tune played like the Jam X De Leon mix of Back in my life lol!!! hehehe... it would be interesting to say the least! now that is what u call cheese!!

Not that cheesy. I actually really like the tracks. They were all tracks from Magik 2 that I've assembled in the last month or so. Dos Deviants - Elevate, VDM - Magnetic North, and The Swimmer - Stand By. Also, Sunscreem - Exodus (Fire and Ice Mix), Badlands - Always on my Mind, and Oceanlab - Satelite (one of the Above and Beyond mixes). It was definitely pretty trancy for the last 2/3 of my set.

Satellite!! i love that tune! the original an Markus Schulz mix are my faves. the A&B progressive mix is good too.

Yeah, I almost always play the Markus mix, but I was leading into a hard trance dj. The Nic Fancuilli mix is pretty tight too. I think Ghosh has the original, and I really like that one too. Song's starting to get a little outdated though. Fortunately no one in Colorado really played it much, if any.

I hear you Ant. I was kidding around too, except for the Jules and Jason flirt session.

I might be down to bring the cdj, depends on who is using it and how careful they are about keeping alcohol away from it.

I havent heard the Nic Fancuilli mix yet. its a bit outdated but hell i love it still anytime i spin it always goes on the tables yeah i've never really heard it live by locals. heard armin markus and ferry throw it down at church before tho.

but check this out. CORe is like my COTA. because i know everyone in there...and you guys know everyone in here...it's the same way...you just have to take the time to get to know people...this way you just have to get to know a few people though...
