This COULD contend with it.... especially considering it was live.

3 hours of solid tech house (with a bit of prog)

Any recent Dubfire? Or has he gone so far underground that himself and his mixes are impossible to locate?

Speaking of Dubfire, I've recently seen him on some Circoloco Goes Global bills. An interesting turn in his career!

Posted by Special K on Mar-11-2008 22:19:

very interesting indeed.

i also saw a dubfire v david squillace pairing for the wmc

and I know hes doing a b2b set with luciano in lausanne in may!!!

Posted by djstopngo on Mar-11-2008 22:32:

I'm catching him w/ Loco Dice, Tiefschwarz, Fanciulli, Squillace and Paul Ritch. It's going to be luscious.

Am I one of the few people who doesn't buy into tech house ish Dubfire?

i like his productions more than his remixes (space bird for example)

Good lord. Listening now, beautiful prog!

Just looked for a review thread for this event, NONE?

I am not missing another one of these nights at Mod Club.

From Resident Advisor.....

Canadian prog upstart Deadmau5 is giving away 56 of his early bits and pieces for download. "I used to make all sorts of random/IDM/glitchy stuff ," says Mr. Mau5. "So I was flipping around my hard drive and I found these 56 tracks. They're all pretty short, but something cool to surf through and stick on your ipod on shuffle if you're bored."

yes indeed. lots of interesting liquid funk dnb that stands out. i guess deadmau5 likes a lot of variety of music

Hmmm... I don't know exactly how well this would work considering Luciano's sound is a bit more soft/groovy whereas Dubfire plays pretty hard. I'd be willing to check it out though.

That set is recorded in little city, half an hour where my parents were born.

Looks like I know now where to go when I go there.

*note to self Don't wear a Palermo jersey there
