I'm pretty sure Stu has the one you can beat someone to death with. Mine is a cheapo Nikon 70-300mm zoom lens and it won't autofocus on my camera as it only supports AF-S lenses. And it has horrible colour aberration so I only shoot black and white with it. Its only useful purpose is ninja mode really.

everytime ive used a nikon ive gotten a bit jealous. If i didnt have so much money already invested into canon lenses i would have switched back in 2007. Everytime ive held one it has felt perfect in my hands and i prefer the colors from nikon.

oh well, it would cost way too much to switch now

I really don't think there's a difference between Nikon and Canon on the high end, and I like Nikon and will be sticking with them when I go full format

We used a D1X D3X in our studio when I was working and the main photographer used it every day but was still a Canon guy in his free time. I mean really I have nothing against Nikon, but I still prefer Canon (but yea, the investment helps my liking haha).

its a personal preference for me, the nikons have always just felt better in my hands, they feel like they were custom designed to fit my hand, where as all my canon cameras have always had an awkwardness to them. and canon images have a slight green tinge to them, which isnt a big deal if you color correct all your images but i prefer the nikon straight shot for straight shot. im weird about "color tinges" though, kind of ocd

Yea the only appreciable difference I can imagine is the physical layout of the cameras. I have long enough fingers that pretty much everything is within easy reach on my 5D.

The only thing that has bothered me on all Canons is the DOF preview button. Fucking awkward as fuck to reach.

What I hate is the "Hahaha, you use a Nikon/Canon, pleb, I'm not even going to talk to you" when really you could be behind any camera and take good pictures.

cleaned my lenses today, updated my firmware (actually made a noticeable difference in the quality of my images) on my camera and then went out for a shoot after the storm here is one of the images im still sorting through the rest



the haze is because its fire season here and constantly smokey everytime we get a storm we get another fire
