Alright, I have a question that has always bugged me!

Why is it so socially acceptable for women to be lesbians, but not for men to be gay!? Why the double standard?!

It seems to be very well taken for two women to be together, but when two men are together it's so wrong. Please someone explain this to me because I honestly don't get it!

that IS a good question

id say its just one of those things that you have to wonder about..like why men dont where tight clothes and women dont where baggy, or loose fitting clothes. or why men dont have vaginas and vice versa..

this all.well...it really started to take shape this way, im gunna guess around the later 60's. lesbians and gays started to surface in the media and publicly. id also guess that lesbians became public before males. im sure the public viewed lesbians as more..delicate, sensual lovers. then men came out publicly and, of course, the public has always viewed and shown men havin the upper hand, really, up until the 70s. or late sixties also. Men have also been shown as masculin, more rough and tumble kinda people. so gay male sex was probably viewed alot worse because it involved sodomy, which used to be outlawed, and still is in some states. male sex is alot more rough, when lesbians, well, women in general are shown as being more delicate, so i guess it didnt seem so bad..
until of course strap ons where made...hehehe

i have these two friends that are lesbians and i get REALLY tired of seeing them make out and kissing each other all the time. I mean, i don't wanna sit there and watch anyone do that kinda shit.
