You requested that we all be friends, but then went on to discuss how inferior some of the TA DJs are to you, and created this bullshit "Skipper disrespects Jerome Robbins" thing...you are certainly not making it easy for us to consider respect and friendship towards you.

Sorry Mecha but she's right...it's totally cool that you made the effort to say "ok no more fighting, let's let it go" but then you go and say more stuff after...that's just not good and perpetuates the fighting...

Posted by Endlesswave on Oct-05-2003 06:37:

lol that one was quite funny. Ummmmm I don't think she disrespects someone just because she doesn't like the type of music they drop. It's personal taste that's all...

another TA informed me as to what you said about Vagrant after the 1st TA invasion. why didn't you post that publicly rather than say it behind matt's back and then behave nicely to his face? jealousy obviously got the better of you when vagrant got selected over you for the prog/house category. and the funny thing is, is that you made more mixing errors at the invasion in one set then matt has ever made playing out combined. if you are going to bad-talk other DJ's atleast make sure that you are technically proficient yourself. Prior to this I would have never insulted you or your mixing skills b/c I don't like to say hurtful things to ppl, but b/c of your actions I no longer care about sparing your feelings.

Posted by charmscars on Oct-06-2003 19:23:

and that's nice that you posted those reviews. but even in the ones that you did post you'll notice that jon's review he refered to 'botchy mixes.' I'm not a DJ, but shouldn't something that you record and post publicly be your best work? don't you think it's inexcusable to have trainwrecks or errors on something like this? doesn't thin indicate that you are unable to mix free of fuck-ups?

so why if this is the case, would you cme on here insulting other djs. especially dj's that are capable of churning out error-free mixes?

i'm not talking about what you posted. i am talking about what you said to another TA about Vagrant's set after teh 1st Invasion. I think it['s very cowardly to talk behind their backs. matt never said anything bad about you, despite teh fact that you whined like a baby when you were not selected teh first time.

yes i have a problem w/ you. i have a problem w/ ppl that shit-talk matt behind his back and don't own up to it. i haven't said anything negative to you since i have been on here until now, b/c you pissed me off.

i like how you didn't even try to deny what you did.

Keep adding people to that ignore list....pretty soon you'll have no one to talk with on this board at the rate you and armada are going.

(Tara! this is a whole new side of you! )

this is coming from a very trustworthy source. perhaps you (conviently) forgot what you said to him.

sara: perhaps they will put us all of on ignore- it will be like a self-serve banning

Posted by mute79 on Oct-06-2003 20:16:

umm, mecha, i have a question for you...

do you resort to trancearmada's methods of recording mixes, which he so carefully edits through sourceforge, and distributes them as his 'promos'? i hope you don't, cuz then THAT would be really funny!

Posted by DigiNut on Oct-06-2003 22:32:

LOL @ this thread still going up in flames! Credibility meter is going down... down...

Let's make a poll: how long (in hours) before everybody on TA is on mecha/armada's ignore lists?

Posted by Mbius on Oct-06-2003 22:53:

I don't use Soundforge
I use Musicmatch Jukebox and record straight into mp3!
Why waste time and space with wav???

Well, we kind of do because we heard him spin.

so as far as your argument goes... we don't know if you edit your mixes as well...

Wow, I'm flattered that you think I know the software well enough to be able to creatively edit. Remember, I've been buying vinyl for less than a year, and the first mix I ever recorded was in June of this year. I know dick all about the software other than how to record into it, and delete the blank spots at the beginning and the end.

If you had ever listened to my recorded mixes, you would realize this. They are not professionally done, nor do I claim them to be. Why edit the fuck out of a demo to make a mistake appear less obvious? It's not like I come mistake-free when you book me - not one DJ in the world does either.

I'm also flattered that you've been doing your homework on me on tribe. Searching my posts, reading up on my life. Fuck, you're obsession and envy is beginning to freak me out...

So, let's reflect here on the bullshit said about me in this thread:

- Skipper joined TA to get gigs
- Skipper has no interest in the people on TA, only to get ahead and get gigs
- Skipper did not show up for one event other than the one she was spinning at
- Skipper disrespects Jerome Robbins because she doesn't like slow, progressive music
- Skipper's opinion is not valid because she's a relatively new member of TA
- Some of the Palazzo DJs are talking shit about Eso behind his back (no names though, just a blanket accusation)
- Skipper will never have as much respect on TA as armada does
- Skipper only got to spin because Highroller asked John to let her play - not because she had any skill or anything
- Skipper uses soundforge to edit all her mixes so you can't hear mistakes

Seriously. WTF do you have against me?

I'm not losing any sleep over your weak, unsubstantiated accusations - but I must ask you - how did you benefit from posting all of the above? I can think of nothing, but that new (or rather, renewed) reputation for being complete and utter IDIOTS.

This is a very nice summary of how Sarah was picked on in this thread. And there is still no reason for it. Unless there were some hiden PMs exchanged, none of these insults are provoked. The only thing that has been accomplished it a greater segragation from the rest of TOTA for mecha and trancearmada.

Oh, by the way, Sarah can I have your demo please if you have copies to give out to peeps?

Mecha & Armada

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but this is way out of hands, the constant insults and disrespect to TA Trance dj and Skipper. One question, where were you on friday night? I played almost an hour of progressive."Support those who support you", and sorry, comming 4 times and leaving early doesn't count in my books, remember I came to see mecha at 10 I had to f****** run to make it, and what happen after heh? Sarah is nice person, and so is Tara, I don't like to see such people get insulted even on a board! and for the record Sarah was there on Friday, and I know it was really hard for her to make it out, much respect to that, and I won't forget it!
