| Originally posted by umes23 as for the smoke problem, wouldnt you find a lot more people smoking in germany and elsewhere?? again, i agree the club was an asshole not cause they werent stopping people from smoking, but because they had no AIR CIRCULATION WHATSOEVER. i was dripping buckets all night! |

| Originally posted by YaleTrance lol, too many princesses in here. Roxy was not packed at all and it was FREEZING inside if you compare it to say---Tiesto@Invited-Panama in Amsterdam. now THAT's hell on earth, you can't even breathe. but that makes the experience even better for me. it's so intense!!! and come on, the number of people smoking was meaningless. if that offends you please never go to Europe. i enjoyed the night because of the Twiloesque atmosphere, the drugs and the pounding music. PvD's style is not my cup of tea and there's nothing else he can do about it. Except playing Dreaming as an encore, that made the night perfect. Vamos a jugar en el sol, 8:15 am |

jp i neeed more pics !!!....thanks for the 1s u posted...it was also nice meeting you!
pvd's out there
does anyone know what he laid on top of out there? i thought it was a pretty hot track. this might've been my worst roxy experience. people not understanding the nyc smoking rules and just lighting up all over. people bumping u as they walked by without so much as a sorry. at least the area in front of pvd was mad chill, and didn't have as many problems. they really have to fine tune their sound system cuz every time i get out, my ears are exhausted (maybe that's not the right word to describe it but u probably know what i mean). besides all that, pvd played a much better set than his april one. so yeah... does anyone know about that one track?

well at first the nite started like a typical shitty NYC party! it seems everytime i try to party in nyc it's nothing but problems. 1st we get there and even though we bought our tix online, we stil end up standing outside freezing our asses off in a line for a good hour and a half. then when i get inside i try to get a drink and i'm told "oh i'm sorry you need a wristband" now at the door i showed security my ID which i'm 26, why they didn't feel the need to give me a wristband i don't know. so i went over to a girl who was working and asked her where i could get a wristband but she was rude and said she didn't know who was giving them out. after about a hlaf hour of being pointed in this direction and that direction for a wristband finally i found somone to help me. i had to go outside all over again, show the guy my ID , then i got the bracelet..what a hassle...by the time i got done with all that bullshit PVD was into his 3rd song....from that point on the nite was amazing! i danced non stop right up until the end, i never seen PVD spin a set that amazing, it was one amazing track after the next...definetly kept me on the dance floor all nite.
definetly one of the best sets i heard this year! The crowds didn't bother me, i didn't seem to have any problems with room to dance, it was really nice towards the end of the nite when the crowd started to die down, then i was able to dance right up front and there was alot of room to move around.
ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT:
ruff driverz pres arrola- dreaming (percussion remix)
total classic! i almost died when i heard that, and i knew right away as soon as he started mixing it in..i just went nutz!
some of my other faves were:
Circ - Destroy She Said ( that was actually the 1st time i heard that track.)
PvD - Nothing But You (PvD Club Mix)( i can never get sick of this song!)
Agnelli & Nelson pres. Ultra - Nothing
PvD - Crush (Second Sun Remix)
Wolfsheim - Wundervoll (Blank & Jones Remix)
PvD - Time Of Our Lives (PvD Club Mix)
Modulation - Spirits (Cosmicman Remix)
....i could keep going on! i wish i had a copy of this set! it was insane! i can't wait for PVD to come to the roxy again...i love seeing him spin 6 hour sets. even though earlier in the nite it was a bit of a hassle it all ended up being worth it for paul! i just hope the roxy can become a bit more organized for events like this.

| Originally posted by Vlad Secondly, there is no such thing as a person who uses E for "special occassions," people that use E, use it on a consistant basis. This doesnt mean that all people abuse the drug, Im just saying it is more likely that people that use it, use it whenever they go out, not just for PvD. |

I'm just happy he's gonna have a monthly night in NYC...I know it's not Twilo and I don't care... Between Sanchez and Calderone both having monthly residencies in NYC coming up there is gonna be some killer HOUSE music in the city...and it's just what NYC needs.. Not everyone's lives revolve around trance...some people actually prefer it a little more funky and soulful. Go check him out @ Centro-fly on Thanksgiving eve and then you'll understand why I'm excited about this party.... |

It was pretty warm around 03:00, so if you had saved some energy for the last 3 hours it was all fine.
Around 05:00 many people were leaving making it less hot and you finally had some space to dance
oh yeah another highlight of the night for me:
New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix)
katana- tribal shock ( i know i heard him play this)
