Good game the other night against Tampa. They should consider themselves lucky to have earned a point.
They started out a little bit sloppy getting outshot 10 - 5 in the first period, but got a nicely executed goal by Tie Domi of all people with Columbus tying things up later in the period. The second period Roberts scored a dandy as the Leafs went on a shooting rampage putting 19 on goaltender Denis. Looks to be a good final period.
2 - 1 for the good guys as of now. (TSN)
Haha!
I just know you're in for a shitty game when Tie opens up the game...
2 more PP Goals by Toronto....wins 4-1 wOOp!!

Position: Defence
Ailment: Twisted knee
Status: Six weeks from Jan. 6. Has been cleared to skate.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.... So Joey and Fitzgerald should be back this Saturday. Now if we could just get Mogilny back.
What's everyone think of this Trade between Toronto and Pittsburgh. I Think Drake Berehowsky will do alot better here then he has with other teams. He use to play for the leafs for the first 5 years of his career, and has since then been traded numerous times, but for a defenceman his stats show that he hasn't been doing to bad. He's atleast going to do more for us then Jackman. And being that he was born in Toronto too is a good thing aswell. Hopefully he'll want to try harder now that he's back with the leafs, and is playing for his home team again.
Here's his points for this year:
GP G A P
47 5 16 21
(his best year so far was 32 points in 99-00 season with Nashville)
Jackman only has 12 points this year.

In his last 5 starts, Trevor Kidd has allowed 4 goals or more. The Leafs might as well just get the fattest guy in the city to lay in the crease all game and hope the opposition cant put it upstairs!!!
Kidd = sent to the minors (at least should be)

Next four games
Feb 16, 2004 away Pittsburgh 7:30 RSN
Feb 17, 2004 home Boston 7:30 TSN (National)
Feb 19, 2004 away Carolina 7:00 TSN
Feb 21, 2004 home Montreal 7:00 CBC
this is just freakin great one point ahead of the sens and they still got a game in hand. Leafs shouldn`t be losing points at home especially to Hawks or Sabers, those points matter too, i mean yeah we can have bad nites, but not when ur winning 3 - 0 with Sabers in second period, I mean come on wat`s going on
Leafs are lookin solid. And FINALLY, they leave Kidd the fuck outta the net. 1 - 0 goin into the 3rd (for the good guys).
WOOO!! Go Kaberle!!!
Telqvist (or however u spell it) is playing fuckin great though

quite possible the most boring game ive ever watched!
my eyes bled from bordem. CAROLINA GAMES ARE SO SHIT! rank right up there with New Jersey and Ottawa.
What made this night sweeter was the fact the Ottawa (who dressed Peter Bondra for the first time tonight) lost to Atlanta in overtime!!! The game on Saturday should be a great one as usual, Montreal looked great tonight beating the hot Flames 4 - 1.
Nice entertaining game on Saturday, and a GRRRRREAT fight between.....ummmm.....i was drunk, someone refresh my memory. I think it was Marchment and someone else. Anyways, great tilt.
Leafs are on right now (CBC - on a Monday?).

Tied at 1 going into the third period. Great hip check by Mccabe that sent a Hurricane player flying. Hope things begin to open up in the final frame.
