It's only 10:30 now, and I've been up for an hour. I playing Tiesto sets all day until it's time to go. I'm also watching the Tiesto - In Concert DVD to psyke myself up. I never have this much energy this early.

i woud've gone so bad but then money problems came in and i need to get the most money i can for my vacation in my home country in august (romania) ... plane ticket is about 1800 and about 500 spendin money there ... rite now i only have 700 so i seriously need to get money from whichever way i can .... sorry guys

Think it starts at 9, whens Tiesto come on? around 11?
usually 11 or 1130, warez guy. i'd plan on getting there around 10:30 max, in case you have to deal with parking/will call line/coat check/getting a first drink, etc.. or in case he starts really early for some reason.

sothis ... i shall repeat myself... i'm not going because i'm in need of money... cause i only got 1 ticket for myself... BUT after i got it i decided to sell it cause i wanted to go to europe, PLUS i see ho harm in that. Ticketmaster was available to ANYONE that wanted to go... now... because they are careless and did not get a ticket early... they deserve this.. plus ... i need money badly.. so don't think i'm doin this just to get some pocket cash.. i'm doin it cause i don't have to the to make $2000 in a month and a half... if the people were stupid and didn't purchase tickets in time... let em pay for it...
no one "deserves" to get ripped off for three times the price of the normal ticket cost, period. then again, our views on it are obviously very different.
it isn't random guy #7's fault that you decided to buy a plane ticket for a trip you obviously can't afford, so i don't buy the "it's ok because i need money!" spiel. you could have thought ahead and waited till you had the money, worked some extra hours at work, or a variety of other things. sure, they might not have bought the ticket when they should have (for a variety of reasons, i'm sure not all were "omg! i'll just wait till the last minute and hope for the best"), but it doesn't mean that you are obligated to rip them off.
i know i'm the minority on this way of thinking (as many people in this thread are doing the same thing), so don't think my opinion on this is just aimed at you. yours just happens to be the most disgusting instance, i think, as you have inflated the price three times what it should be. even more so because this is (or used to be, i don't know half the people posting now) a very tight knit community here, and you are advertising the ripoff price in the thread, for others in this community. i personally would be embarassed to be asking that much of fellow TAs, and just sell it at the door to some random person if it came down to that.
thanks again, serge, for hooking me up for the normal cost of the ticket and not gouging my wallet for your own personal gain. it's appreciated.
