Firstly, I think that we all agree that the killing of this guy was brutal, uncalled for and simply fucked up. However, it doesn't help when we have a bunch of complete lunatics calling for the extermination of an entire continent because a relatively small amount of people murdered someone. There have been people from the middle east murdered in the US no doubt. Does this mean that we should kill every person in the US? Of course it doesn't.

God, not this idiotic argument again. Because he dislikes the things that some Americans do. You evidently don't like some of the things that people like him do and say in the US, so why don't you go somewhere else?

I'd gladly pull the trigger on anyone who condones or even stands by and allows something like the Nick Berg incident to happen. If you wouldn't, you're a fucking coward.

So you intend to solve the problem - which is people murdering innocent people in the first place, by killing innocent people back. It's official, you're a fully fledged hypocrite! If anyone around here is behaving like a complete fucking moron - it's you.

my 2 cents

what about the people that got tortured and humiliated?, those dads have to live with this experience for their whole life, iv seen some soldiers respons, they woulda rather die than that experience..

bush said, not even sorry it was like shit happens he expressed

what about the childeren, that died, or became handicap now for the rest of their life?

bush say, shit happens.

what about the families that lost their dads or moms, ( you do know USA still killing innocent people there sometimes, ya maybe on accident)

bush say, shit happens

i saw the video, well i didn't bring alot of emotions to me,

but what can i say? shit happens..

Now saying those people are savages? no they arn't, i believe there is a reason for publishing this video, its like a warning..

you treat us bad or torture and humiliate us, we do the same if the chance occurs.

Also for this video has a bigger msg, as you all know george bush supports what isreal doing to palastina, i believe those people sending a msg, vote for bush this what you get..

as for punisher, die pls ty.

How must the parents of died soldiers feel when they see all the trouble about this guy (yes it horrific, cruel) and almost nothing happens when 1 of their sons die?
SOme soldiers were lynched, captured, mutilated, burned lively and then dragged down the street. But hey, they were soldiers, shit happens.

They showed this vid on their site. A hate campaign will start agaist everything mid-eastern.
Just another excuse to finally start their Jihad on a mass scale against those hatefull Americans?

You people must realize that 90% of the Iraqis don't support such extremists (Were they even from Iraq?).
What's shown on the telly, Iraqis fighting their 'saviors'. Iraqis helping the troops, the 'saviors' ain't good television, we already saw that ... so that's kept out.

EDIT: I just read Hezbollah said the assasination of Berg was an outrage.

"It gives the Americas extra reasons to treat Iraqi prisoners yet more badly"
According to them, the perpetrators that claim to be Islamists, bring the Muslims and the islam to shame.

I know that this is one event out of many over the globe which is tragic and wrong but we should respect the dead and his family in just the same way we should respect any innocent person who is killed unjustly.

If you must watch the video i am sure u are capable of finding it yourselves on the web.

WHAT THE HELL!!! IS THIS NAZI GERMANY!
I feel we should be free to provide a link to whatever we choice as long as we provide ample warning and brief description of the content. I believe most of us here are mature enough to make our own decisions of whether to follow it or not.

Get your history lessons straight and learn something about other countries before you reply that America has always been the strongest nation, the world exists a little bit longer then the 100 years that you the US are the strongest nation. 100 years is nothing, Roman Empire ruled for about 500 years, The Netherlands ruled for 150-200 years etc etc etc. Eventually you will lose that "title" to another country (probably China).

Please get an education...

Has anyone wondered at all why this man would go into such known hostile territory when he has a wife and children in the USA? It's a drastic way to die, yet I know it's not the worst way anyone has died in the history of mankind. My attitude on this topic is a little different now that it's waaay early in the morning and I have been drinking and partying all night.

What exactly was David Berg doing searching for a story in Iraq without an escort or bodyguard after these photos came into the public eye. Even better, why didn't he get the hell out of there and stay at home with family and do a nice human interest story on the local cat lady?? A bit over the top for a cynic to accept, they'd rather blow them out and destroy a generation of children, some other uncanny bullshit.

It's such a simple and straightforward incendiary action. Your soldiers humiliated them far beyond the means that any of those poor f.uckers could ever imagine. How do they react but take another innocent man and display him as a an example of karma. And then you freak out, like some great injustice has been thrown upon you and you can't handle the insult. You still say goodnight to your family, you still have a nephew that hasn't recently been blown up by some moronically placed landmine, or misguided missile from a stealth remote plane.

Whatever, I'm through on this topic, it's a shame that so much anymosity has cultured around such a tragic display of human nature.

http://www.cnn.com/2002/EDUCATION/11/20/geography.quiz/

quote:
The society survey found that only about one in seven -- 13 percent -- of Americans between the age of 18 and 24, the prime age for military warriors, could find Iraq. The score was the same for Iran, an Iraqi neighbor.

quote:
Only 89 percent of the Americans surveyed could find their own country on the map.

quote:
When asked to find 10 specific states on a map of the United States, only California and Texas could be located by a large majority of those surveyed. Both states were correctly located by 89 percent of the participants. Only 51 percent could find New York, the nation's third most populous state.

Now - there were other countries who also had appalling results, but these are just too damn funny. It doesn't matter what country you're from, if you can't locate your own nation on a map after going to school, then there's something seriously wrong.

De Gouden Eeuw, VOC, ooit van gehoord?

(sorry for the Dutch )

When they had all those "Compagnies"
Trade and stuff. I'm learning that shit again this weekend, very interesting.

Posted by MOSCHINO on May-13-2004 13:30:

War is a horrible thing. As much as I want this war to stop I also understand that it wont. We are dealing with cold-blooded animals, dirty scum, and worst people who ever populate the Earth. They are terrorists. They will continue to kill and destroy. September 11 was the last draw when we understood that were dealing with the real threat to our society. They are threat to our lifestyle, our culture, our families and children. I know many people who I love whose family members are in army or were in army at some point serving this country, serving America. They served and protected this land from all evil in order for us to life and enjoy our freedomand I dont want to loose themand if its going to take to kill each and everyone of those scumbags then be it.

They give us one death, we should give them 10.

they were the most powerful country back then and they conquered certain profitable (english word?) economic points, like Cape Town and Indonesia to obtain a better economy. (see the similarities with the US?)

They had more power then Great Britain and Spain at the time, and those countries were also very strong back then

So let me get this straight. Your solution to not allowing such isolated incidents to happen again is nuking the whole Middle East and obliterating 1/6 of the world's population?

Wow, us American citizens with a brain should start worrying when young people that don't know any better adopt this kind of extreme neo-fascist ideology. Towards where are we headed?

And please, do us all a favor and take that hideous picture off your avatar. It's disturbing.

Oh crap. A lot of americans don't know the globe. If i'm not mistaken this is the #1 cause of death in america. It seems like worthless information at first but it's fatal if you just ignore it. So buy a globe, study your continents and countries, you may just save someones life. Or at least keep people from lauging at you based on your knowledge of useless facts. Or something. I need a vacation. That Rand McNally place looks nice and sunny out there in the middle of the ocean.

This thread is stupid, and so is what everyone has posted in it.
