70-71st street is where the ss is......don't u guys feel like you are getting jipped???

ss was so packed last year i couldn't dance.....his set was lame, and the bathroom lines.....? how much money is made events and pvd gonna make off this????? Hope you guys that go to these are not dissapointed especially because of how much money you're spending.....think about it. lots of money$$. Especiualy shitty is the fact that you have to go to cp to go to the "after Party" . HWat if you only want to go to one? or what if you can only afford one?? I think this is quite lame. Persoanly i would skip ss if he was playing a long set at a club that night, but he's not giving me that option.....PV$$$$

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-26-2004 18:41:

adam i know somepeople under 18, that are going to ss, obviousely not spirit but they could give u their # to enter...

Well fuck sake I always hear about these legendary 6-7 hour sets that he plays in New York til all hours and I'd much rather have that than 2 early sets. Either way I guess I can't complain about 7 hours at 2 entirely different venues, and 2 entirely different sets, but $70 is kind of alot.

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-26-2004 19:14:

well are you gonna complain on the fact that a hotel outside of nyc is $60 a night, and inside nyc $300 a night?

Posted by INDY on May-26-2004 19:18:

o god what is this bs for? lee is right! why are people NEVER satisfied..yes all the pvd fans wants paul to play a never ending fuckin set..but will that happen NO? 2 events on the same night for 7 or so hrs is wayy good enough..i think its even better...the most dedicated fans fly all aroudn the world to see him..do you hear us complaining? GEESUZ you all sort it out!

i booked at the HoJo penn station. don't know exactly how far it is from CP and spirit, but mapquest shows that its within a short cab ride. at $110/night, i'd say its not bad

FFS I'm flying to NYC by myself to meet a bunch of people I've never met before. I'm not complaining, just making sure it's worth my trip.

yeah it's wack, but it should be a really good time... only reason, aside from the afterparty, that i'm going to ss is that it's 4 blocks from where i grew up
