Well I COULD have vote for the Fab Four Paul, Tijs, Armin or Ferry.

But I didn't...although Ferry is top 5 material, he really is...

1. DuMonde
2. Cosmic Gate
3. Kai Tracid

I believed this was my top 3....
As someone mentioned earlier......it's all about the atmosphere created on the dancefloor by a dj, tracklisting and set build-up... And, although DuMonde is technically pretty poor...the tracks they choose are always good and the build-up is solid. With that I always like their productions.... And they're just extemely nice guys!

Cosmic Gate is good for solid, basspumping sets.... They're wicked, always good memories for me!

And...besides the fact Kai Tracid is just cute as hell, he plays a lot darker and harder stuff than you will think if you hear the tracks he produces...

Here's some news from Lesley Wright, the editor of DJ Magazine, who runs the polls. A few interesting bits & pieces in there: two new entries in the top 10, apparently......

Reading that interview with the editor I was very suprised that This year we have received over 91400 votes .

I don't think that is many votes at all considering the big deal people make about this fucking top 100 list. I mean thats not a representative sample by any means....

True, although the lack of numbers that vote, and the fact DJs have a much lower profile than other musical artists as a whole ensure that the likes of Oakenfold stay in the top 10...

imho, i really dont think markus can go from outta
the top 100 to top 10 in a yr....

if there are 2 new top 10s, zabiela
and sander are most likely to crack it (#11 & #13 last yr)

Blank & Jones
Timo Maas
Deep Dish
Tedd Patterson

they are my fav at the moment but can't say who is the best dj in the world

Posted by DjEuphoria on Oct-26-2004 22:14:

1.The lord of the trance himself-Mr.Tiesto

2.Ferry Corsten
3.John "00" Fleming
4.Armin Van Buuren
5.Judge Jules

By the way, I noticed many have said Marco V, well I have listened to one of his live sets before and thought it wasnt good, it didnt sound much like trance. He is trance right?and what should I listen to next time, some of his old sets or new ones?

Also, where can I check the top 100 djs?

Posted by hardstyle on Oct-27-2004 05:02:

Well they wouldn't be new entries then.. they'd be climbers. Unless he just specifically meant the top 10.. it was ambiguously worded.
