Whoever said Timo Maas - i echo that suggestion.
And Nic Fancuilli (sp.) aka Skylark deserves an extended set in this city.

Are you sure about that? Timo Maas is awful live.

- Matthew Dekay is a must!
- Jason Jollins is up and coming and would sound perfect on that sound system
- Taj vs Gianni (that would be total carnage).

I concur. He really is hit or miss when it comes to a live performance. Only seen him once, and he was quite boring, but then i've heard there are nites when he has wrecked the place with his sets. Still...not sure i'd pay $30 and take a gamble on him.

Posted by Sly_Guy on Jan-14-2005 13:11:

the Timo Maas set from 2001 summer's end is still probably the best live set I've ever heard. Because of that, I'll always give him the chance, but yes, other times, he isn't up to par.

Im really only basing it on the one live performance i saw (the one Slyguy was speaking of), and a few mixes ive heard from him recently. I've heard mixed things about his consistancy, but his eerie productions and track selections would sound amazing in the main room. Plus im sure he could be booked pretty cheap, so it wouldnt be a huge gamble.

I am TELLING you, he would 100% be SICK

Not only is his star rising, but there's no telling
how big he's gonna be.

Jeff, TRUST me, he'd be PERFECT.
His description of his style:
"Trippy-Trancey-Techy-Housey"
-with a hint of tribal

Only thing is he's never been to N.America (I believe).
On the flip side, this is an opportunity to scoop 'em up.

I will NOT give up on this - he's DEFINITELY a future STAR
