sounds wonderful!
I'll be there with you peeps in spirit! Give me a ring when you ring in the new year! I will be ringing it in 3 hours after you peeps! HAHAHA
so is anybody still going to Montreal?
its sooooo on. like tron, pong, and donkey kong!
so i'm gonna try to book my flight and hotel tonight. any tips for a hotel? i was browsing and saw most are already sold out and anything in midtown manhattan is $300+ a night. hotels across the river in jersey are much cheaper, but how long of a cab ride is that? i'm leaning towards just biting the bullet and paying the exhobanant amount for a hotel close by, so if anyone has any recommendations or places to avoid lemme know.

| Originally posted by Godskitchen NYC Originally posted by planbrad im flying up to new york for the new year and i will be attending this show. just had a couple questions for some of you ta's: where is the club exactly? need to know where to book a hotel if ill be able to find one or find my route out of there in the morning. The club is located at 610 West 56th Street between 11th and 12th. Best bet is to look up hotels.com and they will find a good hotel at the best rate in the vicinity for you. is the club going to have a dress code that i need to know about? The dresscode is clubby casual. ie; clean sneakers and jeans are fine, just keep in mind you are at an event, so be comfortable but look good! what should i do about tickets? should i buy them now or wait? what is the difference between all the different tickets? I suggest buying them now at the $65 ticket price, as on December 20th the price will be changed to $75. Check out www.playstationdualplay.com for all ticket info, including all the VIP packages being offered and what amenities come with them, or go directly to www.groovetickets.com to buy your ticket. should i plan on being in this club before the new year or should i plan on being in the streets or somewhere else for this and going to the club after? Hmmmm. Good question that I am partial to answering as the promoter a bit biased ![]() . But anyone with a hard ticket that shows up will be ushered in quickly, so if it is a choice you are determining by the time it will take you to get in, get your hard tickets, and whenever you show up it will be a quick line. but of course I think you should show up early!what time will pvd be spinnnig? o'bir? Liquid Todd will be opening 9-10.30, Jon OBir goes on from 10.30 till 12.30 (btw everyone, it is Jon's birthday that night! So please remember to scream Happy Birthday as well as Happy New Year's at the stroke of midnite...) Paul van Dyk will be playing from 12.30-4.30, then Jon will spin, and after him, is a longtime San Francisco DJ named Jonathan Ojeda, an incredible DJ and producer. The party will continue as long as there are people in the building, enough people anyhow to sustain a rocking party, and by the looks of it, there will be thanks in advance. just trying to get organized a little bit since ive decided so last minute to go to this show. Let me know if you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer them for you. Look forward to seeing all of you at the show, especially on the dancefloor... _Godskitchen NYC |

a dress code?! Ikon *never* had any sort of a dress code -- neither did any of the other clubs that was in that space...great, just another fucking thing we need to worry about that night...its one thing for VIP and/or 21+ parties to have a dress code but regular GA/18+? and having to pay so much to begin with? ughhh just another sign that all these clubs are going the route of VIP and bottle service and image rather than catering to the people who want to just go and have a good time....damns
the scene is truly dying out...(like it hasnt already)
hmm wid a dress code in place, a lot of 18+ are going to be turned away. and I have a lot of friends that are coming in from other states who are certainly not expecting a dress code...sorry for this rant, the nyc scene has been annoying da shiet outta me for awhile now, and this just hit the nail in the coffin...

Okay all NYTAS listen up -- there is a DRESS CODE for this party wouldnt want any of my beloved nytas to miss this piece of information, unless you want to get turned away at the door...
and damns what a great way to find out...i didnt even read that lil Q&A session in a previous post....if that person didnt ask a specific question liek that, i would have gone to thte party in ufos and shiet...

It's New Year!! Even wearing jeans is damn casual in my opinion. Going overseas you wouldn't be allowed anywhere without dress clothes.
NYC for New Year should be classy.
Why don't I show up in my pajamas then? They are the most comfortable...
