i guess i just didn't really see the point of spending loads on a ticket, rented suit etc just to stand in a room with the people in my year [who were mostly fucktards]. there was no alcohol there, rap music all around.

just better things to do i guess...

that's why i hated MY prom...but ah well it was fun. heh i live in Orange County, and its not all too different then what you see on TV especially at my old HS (i graduated like 4 years ago) anyway....some song came on..i think it was buy Sum41. and AAAAAALLL these white people were singing and my friend goes "good god...its like rap for white people"

i was banned from my homecoming dance sophomore year (along with like 6 other kids) for getting caught drinking in the park.

my junior prom was so much better than my senior prom. i went with my best friend both years, but senior year he was all bitchy with me 'cause i was dating a guy he didn't like, so we didn't have a great time. not to mention i hated mostly everyone i went to high school with.

and my senior prom was at the WTC, windows on the world.

More or less same thing happened to me at my prom. I hated 99% of the people in my grade, and almost all the people in the lower grades, the music was hiphop the whole night, i was there with my now ex boyfriend who was a complete retard, he proceeded to get absolutely hammered, puked on the "dancefloor" and made out with my ex best friend.

To think the price i paid for that dress could have bought me something a hell of a lot more useful. What a fucking waste.

i saw something on the news the other night that mentioned how a lot of girls these days are spending $400-$500 just on their dress. i dunno, that shit to me is just INSANE. i didn't even take a limo to my proms because my friends and i couldn't afford it. my senior prom tickets alone were $300/couple. so i searched everywhere for the cheapest dress i could find. luckily i found a really cute one for $90.

thanks! i know what you mean though. for dinner at my senior prom we had this yummy steak, and as i was cutting it, my knife slipped and i splashed steak juice ALL over that dress. so for almost the entire night i sat there with a napkin over it. i still haven't gotten over that!

yes that's catherine. the girl in the red is dayle. dayle dropped out so she wasn't gonna be able to go, but catherine ditched her date so she could take her best friend awwww. me and catherine are so close, she's wonderful!

haha! "Surprisingly" enough, I don't have many pictures of me and my date either. He had already graduated and was such a jackass. I think its inevitable to not shed tears before prom. Why does this always happen?! hahaa now that I look back on it, I realize it is piddly. You know, how us girls get stressed and could slit the throat of our mothers and hair dressers. Anyway, I love the hemming/lines of your skirt!

eh. i didn't have a date the day before prom b/c my ex couldn't go at the last minute, so i didn't really care what he looked like.
