I hope it doesnt rain either, because I want to do something after and the rain will totally fuck that up.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Aug-16-2005 18:12:

I think it would be pretty cool if it drizzled for a little bit in the beginning so we have some time to dry off a little by night. But then again, there isn't much to do after anyway it seems.

Which is why if it rained it would mess up any kind of attempt at an after party.

you're not dude.

the rain last year was a lot of fun, and cool, and unique, and all that good stuff, but one drenching was enough...

ooh memories!!

hmm let's see...left celly in the car...wore a white tee DESPITE the forecast...the clock struck SIX, as Nature sounded the skies with a DOWNPOUR, PVD answered with his own 'thunder' and that song "New York"...then white shirt proceeded to become transparent (FUN ) , borrowed baby's shirt off his back and left him FREEZING HIS ASS OFF in a tank top for the next four hours : (well dats why bfs are FOR! hehe). Hmm Camera started getting foggy two hours into the rain so that every image had a ghostly cast in them...then totally foggy pictures altogether...gave UP!!! my friend's spirit ticket got soo soaked, the ink ran/faded, and the ticket tore at the perforation -- she was afraid they wouldnt accept it...

after party baby drove back to my midtown apartment -- his visual and ability somewhat compromised haha, doormen looked at us funny, we changed and drove back to ended up at spirit was so fukin tired we both just assed out sitting at one of the pillars...geez

ah, memories... omg CANT WAIT till Saturday!!! sorry got carried away

Very wise of you to bring $1000 worth of electronics on a day that it might rain.

Weather for Saturday....Thunderstorms....maybe

Posted by DOOMBOT on Aug-16-2005 20:29:

I am guessing that if there was lighting that they would move it inside, without a doubt.

No they wont. They didnt do it last year, they arent doing it this year. The only reason why Armin was moved was because it was on a Thursday when clubs are usually closed.

yea they will. You think paul is gonna play on a metal stage in the middle of a park in a lightning storm?

If anything im sure they will go into their trailers during a storm

Posted by Wazup8012 on Aug-16-2005 20:51:

nah I will be happiest if it rains before we go so it cools the air down and then the rest of the time it is dry.

I just dont want it to be 100 degrees outside ya hear

Let me repeat myself for those that dont understand english...

They didnt do it last year, they arent doing it this year.

Its a rain or shine event, if they dont perform, we get our money back.

Posted by Shamez214 on Aug-16-2005 21:11:

When was the last time weather was predicted correctly almost 5 days in advance?

Posted by DOOMBOT on Aug-16-2005 21:20:

Even though it says rain or shine I am still skeptical about bringing my brother to NYC, just in case...

Honestly, I dont think it would have mattered. The crowd was in the pouring rain going absolutely insane, I dont see how he could have stepped away from the booth without feeling like shit.
