Well, seeing it again prompted me to revise it anyway. Surprising how much has changed in only 16 months- almost a third of my original list slid completely off into the void, and a lot of stuff dropped massively in my estimations. Interestingly, a lot of what was Top 20 is now Top 10.

Oh, and I think you're rapidly becoming the person on TA with the closest tastes to mine.

I suppose you completely missed the bit in the opening post that said:

...which was the first thing I wrote. Yeah, it's self-indulgent to go all the way to 100, but otherwise it's the same as any other "List your favourites" thread, and as I said it had been done before. Funny how, in two threads of this nature spread out over three years and several hundred responses, you are the first person to pick a fight over this issue.

That list is missing alot of tracks i feel deserve to be there... Blue Monday yet not one Depeche Mode song...

Because I started this thread 17 months ago, and at the time Cobalt's thread was nowhere near the first page. Factor in that the Search function was a complete arse back then and you get the reason that I was too lazy to trawl through a year or whatever of TA to find the thread.

Well hey- make your own list. This thread was about getting people to really think about their favourite music, not just sitting round looking at my list. My list is never going to be perfect- not until I hear every song out there, and even then you'll still disagree.
