It gets less long when you hit Quebec at least!!!!!

You can drive 40 km over the speed limit usually!

Err wait no, you prolly have Ontario plates, nvm, SQ will specifically pull you over...

:/

yeah exactly.. I drive at a steady pace of 145 until I enter Quebec then it is the speed limit for me.. or just slightly over.. have been to Montreal enough times to have this down pat

and as long as I've got my tunes I am good to go.. I will be rockin out to some sweet techno the whole drive so it shouldn't be too bad.. I'm used to it anyhow

there's barely any cops on the highways.

and only idiots get pulled over by the cops.

When is edmm.ca going to post the pictures and videos??
anyone get the liveset?

Posted by Alex on Oct-12-2005 02:03:

Come on Malek it's an old joke that the SQ are assholes to Ontario peeps :P

But they do sometimes have those tricky speed traps, so ya guess you're right... Not usually many cops on the highways till quota time.

the rule is, once u hit autoroute 40 you go as fast as you want, cause Quebec has no demerit points (probably the only positive thing about the province), fucking for Labour of Love on my way to TO i got stopped going 112...i couldn't believe it...50$ ticket..??? Is that fucking weird or what?

Posted by fastmp3 on Oct-12-2005 02:33:

to all the n00blars who are afraid of going sober ... let me tell you i ALWAYS went sober

Posted by Alex on Oct-12-2005 02:36:

uh ?? not true we do have demerit points, but the thing is they don't apply to Ontarians and vice-versa.

I was in Toronto and got a ticket doing 75 in a 55 zone... i got the ticket without the points.

Of course not, we're not noobs! You can add Meat to the list of non users as well and no alchy for him either.

I understand Tag's dilemna. Once you have already taken something and you see how good it is, it's hard to go the next time without it. It's not that bad going sober. If your a real fan of the music, you'll be fine and dancing the night away anyways. Plus, someone pointed out that you can actually remember the songs that were played

ya BUT Taha = a drug....maybe if you came out every time none of us would need anything. Just TA love.

Posted by Alex on Oct-12-2005 03:16:

Everything in moderation, I'm going to cut back like mad, I dont want to forget stuff anymore either.

But no promises in regards to cold turkey, never again :P

time for a reunion of the old partiers

Posted by Marcus007 on Oct-12-2005 03:19:

I really respect the people who can dance all night on nothing. Personally, I love the music and all, but I can't imagine having the strength to dance ALL NIGHT LONG. I've been to an afterhours drunk... i lasted all of 2 hours...

(edit: what about markess... )

(edit2: I MISSS MAZEEENNNNNN)

Yup, I've got it all figured out. I lost my priorities for awhile but I'm back on track in my head. Soberness will be fine. I'll only take something at big effents like every 4 months, and not like stupid amounts that I've been doing.

and what is the key word in this sentence hun... "went"
and do you "still" go sober??

hehehe.. I'm just giving you a hard time.. seriously.. it isn't hard to go sober.. I have already said it.. THE MUSIC is where it is at and that only!!

Sober = feeling good in the morning and not sketchy, a full day ahead of you instead of sleeping and a clear mind with full clear memories of the night before
