both are very talented dj's that deserve more recognition imo.
although I don't think Masiello will be booked unless he is making a return to the area in April.. he is already booked in Toronto on March 17th and Ottawa on the 24th I believe!

Sans DJ Dan and Danny Howells. IMO

Replace them with Timo Maas and Zabs.

yea really! it's getting ridiculous now. i've been watching this degradation for the last 2 years. every time i give them - most of the time it's either one of them and even then it's only sharam - a chance, i set myself up for a disappointment. it's not about the music for them anymore...it seems only the $$$ is what matters. sickening. i used to be a huge fan...but their performance really lacks soul. i just can't get anything out of it anymore. totally overrated and commercialized. anyways, i'm done. ... disappointing...

Oh Taha, I wasn't convinced either until I listened to Dan's Lift CD and then listened to Steve Porter's April '05 Kiss FM 100 set. Their styles are so similar, those funky basslines are trademarks for both of them. I really thought of them together right away. It's just my opinion though His productions album, Homegrown, doesn't at all fit with Dan's style though...

i always thought of Porter being proggier while Dan funkier hehe

Ah, I totally agree, but at some point, I felt they complemented each other...Both are awesome, let's leave it at that

Hope to see you @ Porterhouse on the 20th Taha

Funny tho 'cause for me too deep dish hasn't been anywhere near what they were that night ...

Yup and on NYE I took the time to talk to sharam for a for moments, he just seemed to totally not give a shit about what he just played...and was very un enthusiastic. I think for the price he charges there's soooooo many better DJs

Posted by Marcus007 on Jan-13-2006 18:14:

Richie Hawtin & Sven Vath
Carl Cox
Preach
Armin Van Buuren

Hernan Cattaneo
Desyn Massielo
King Unique
John Digweed

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yep... yep... yep... me too man

The question is: would 17000 other people pay 300?

Unfortunately not.

The leaked house line up for this year's BeB doesn't reflect the wishes of the majority in this poll.
If those who book for BeB post and read the threads on tranceaddict; there seems to be more talking and less listening.
