I'll admit... when I was young and immature, I hated the Yankees and everything about them. Now, I just don't care. I see no reason to "hate" them or to ever say they "suck." 'Cause that would be silly. Just like saying the Mets "suck" is silly. But, as the Mets get better and better, more Yankees fans will come out and hate on the Mets, just like Mets fans did from '95 - '04. That's just the way this city is. And it's crazy.

yea thats so true , and it is silly . I remember how Mets fans always used to hate on yankees but since there doing good now they forgot all about the yankees and just are interested in seeing the mets keep on winning Arguing over sports is pointless , ill admit my comment was immature but I just wanted to mess around , it just gets to me sometimes when some one tells me they cant understand me cause im not putting in all the right punctuations ,thats immature and silly too

almost symmetrical with his 200th win, he got his 100th road win

and good to see Jorge Julio finish that out well, and get out of a bases loaded, no out jam, making a streak of 5 straight scoreless innings, in 4 games

if he gets his act together, and the other relievers continue pitching as they have, then that's a solid bullpen

soon i will drop the "jorrible" moniker for jorge julio

first on July 22 against the Reds
then in the classic NLCS Game 6 against the Astros
The previous year, there was the July 4 game against the Braves, that ended at 4 AM.

aside from the great history that has happened in the ballpark since the 1920s, it really isn't that good of a ballpark to watch a game. the bleachers aren't connected to the rest of the stadium, you got spots in the upper deck where you can't see part of the ballpark. also, the renovation in the 70s removed all the charm that once existed in the ballpark.

the new ballpark gives a chance to correct all these errors

Anyway, the real reason why I checked out this thread is because Id just like to voice my opinion that I think Mr. Albert Pujols will become one of the top 5 greatest hitters in major league baseball. This guys is a fucking enigma. I wouldnt put it past him to have 3500 hits, 700+ HRs, 2200 RBIs, .325 BA, .400 OBS, 1.000+ OPS.

If he averages the numbers hes putting up until hes 40, he will break Hank Aaron's HR and RBI records. Lets not forget that hes only playing for 5 years and he probably hasnt even peaked yet, which is fucking scarey! And the way its looking, this year might be his year to blow the roof off of baseball.
