trance is enough of a stimulant . If you need more when listening to trance then you have much bigger mental problems

MDMA causes double vision, or as Erowid.org puts it "visual distortion". I'm sure a multitude of drugs cause double vision and MDMA is one of them in high enough doses (I only ever get that after 5 good pills in quickish sucession
)
yes it distorts ur vision but doesnt give me double vision there different things
MDA and MDMA are two different chemicals.
Double vision is a common side effect of MDA, especially trying to focus on something close in front of you. Do a few decent MDA pills and when your eyes are rolling into the back of your head it's hard not to have double vision. Ever tried to read a text on pills?
To quote erowid rapid, involuntary eye jiggling (nystagmus) and eye distortions.
Watching subtitles is like hell, they are all over the TV screen
THe EDM scene is full of rumours...
A lot of them are just marketing techniques used by DJs... I mean, it gets the ppl who think it's OK to do drugs on their side.
Not that I'm saying it's not, or it is. I'm neutral. It's upto u, i don't give a shit. Great, have fun if u want. Just be aware of the risks.
Until i see hard evidence, i won't just assume a certain DJ does drugs, simply because ppl say so. Even the lists we've seen on this thread aren't even compatible with each other. The same goes with all of the chats and forums i've been in. When it comes to drugs, nothing every seems to agree much. SO it's all dodgy rumour bullshit.

Sure, I don't have any proofs for it, but I've heard from some guys (including DJs) who met him backstage @ events. It's something like a open rumour over here in Germany. Just visit his Vandit Nights in Berlin. 90% of the crowd is high on some drugs and if you look at the people in the V.I.P. area you know what's going on And I know for sure that DJ Dean does drugs (cocane, xtc and amphetamine). I didn't saw him doing it but just take a look at the pictures from his gigs and you look him deep into the eyes And at his resident club Tunnel in Hamburg 99,9% of the people are high on XTC including the owner of the club and all resident DJs... |
Nice discussion! Following up on some previous posts, I am sure drugs bring out creativity in people. Lots of very big artists of the past, whatever music or art they were into, were heavy (ab)users. Speaking for myself, I like to smoke some marijuana from time to time but that's it. Listening to a track high definitely brings out certain elements more and working on one like that can be very refreshing. I am as clean as it gets when I'm spinning though, don't even drink during a set. For some reason that feels more like work and I don't want people to get the wrong impression. It sure as hell doesn't look good when a DJ is so fucked up that he can't pronounce his own name, let alone play a set.

Ok, what we know is that at least 80% of all the people in club scene are using drugs. Some does it a lot some less. Doesn't it mean that at least 80% of DJs are also using drugs, at least some? Statistics won't lie?
i went to a gig in the uk last year and was backstage where i saw the following artists taking cocaine
ben lost
solar stone
scott bond
matt hardwick was at the gig, he didn't do cocaine but drank voddy during his performance, disguised in a coca-cola bottle
lol @ this thread..
If djs and clubbers want to do it, fine, let them deal with the problems that come with it.
No biggie, it's like anything.
This thread is the epitomy of the art of bullshitting
