Exactly. I don't know why mp3 players are an issue when the cellphone problem is getting out of control. I've seen people drifting from lane to lane, making illegal turns, not noticing the color of the trafficlights and many other hazardous situations while they were on their celly.

On a somewhat related note.

I was standing at the corner of a busy intersection, waiting for the walk light so that I could cross. The light going the other way turned red, and was red for at least a full 2 seconds, so I stepped out onto the street to cross, and ZOOOOM!

A red convertible drove through the red light and got so close to hitting me that some people walking behind me came running up and asked if his side mirror had clipped me.

I was pretty shocked, so I kinda brushed it off and crossed the road, but holy shit!! I almost became road kill.

I wish I had gotten the guys license plate.

I've seen a few red light-runners too, and I asked my dad what I could do if I got their plates, and he said that there's not much - they'll (the cops) send them a letter or something and that's it.

The logic is as follows: you say you get to punch me in the face because I dissed your girl, well then I get to punch her in the face because she dissed my friend.

But that's really beside the point here. I don't have any kind of agenda against MK. It was eye-for-an-eye (which I already explained and you chose to ignore), so it's not like I'm gonna go follow her from thread to thread attacking her on every opportunity I get. I don't hold the thoughts I may have formed about a person in one thread into another thread (For example, d!abolic, whose posts are 99% garbage, does get that 1 good post once in a while, and when he does, I am able to recognize that fact and not just hate on him for no reason). So what happens in a thread stays in that thread.

So the lesson here is "say stupid shit, and someone will catch it and make fun of you". Almost everybody discovered that in high school.

pay attention ...ya hes stupid, but dont give motorists that much credit. you gotta pay full attention as a pedestrian and watch whats going on when you cross a street... i never understood those who just look down and start walking. it makes NO sense. they think that if they dont look , they will stop or some shit. uh no. When I cross im constantly scanning to see whats going on. I dont need someone to come barelling through the intersection and mow me down.

To be fair, the guy was going about 70 or 80 down the street that is on a bend, so when I stepped out, from what I could see, no one was coming.

Even the people behind me didn't see him coming either.

I will admit however that I wasn't paying too much attention.

Yeah sometimes its hard to see whats going on, depending on the intersection. I went to cross the street near my place (road was a curve) and no one was coming. I took 2 steps and looked again, and a school bus was barreling at least 30 over . I turned around and went back onto the grass. As the bus passed the driver waived. I was like , ya I saved you from killing me

You can never be too careful crossing the road these days.

Of course the past arguments matter. They're THE SOLE REASON you're getting on my ass now. It is pretty elementary to get all huffed up about something so ridiculous.

And I might add that if you don't want people saying things about your girlfriend, you may want to ask her not to say things about other people. It seems to be a natural reaction to retort with something equally as insulting when someone attacks you. They all were at fault, so don't start acting like someone came out of no where and started being mean to her.

EDIT: I just realized that I am not too sure who your girlfriend is... but either way, everyone was dishing shit, so there really weren't any innocents in this.
