Have you seen the promos for Famous? Any more than 2 hrs of quality music and the kids might have rioted [only joking!!] Yeah he looked a little ill when he started, but he seemed to get into it pretty fast!!

Posted by charlee on Oct-16-2006 00:40:

Oh and you forgot this one Vi

LOL I lub you my munter!

What a great night This was my third visit to Famous and I have to say I really like the place! The music isnt too cheesey and there is always plenty to keep you entertained.
Jimmy Van M was great I was expecting him to play a little more minimal (he told me earlier in the night that he doesnt play prog anymore) but what we got was prog to me! Farking tough disco prog as I like to call it. I am interviewing Jimmy on Wednesday night for WorldDJ and will post the article on here for those interested.

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP FOR DETROIT.... I LOVE THIS CITY"

Posted by Renegade on Oct-16-2006 19:16:

Loving the new look of the place. I can see much mayhem happening there in the future.

Jimmy Van M was damn good - haven't heard a prog set like that (without it being spoiled by that prog-electro shit) for ages. Jon Carter was pretty ordinary (although I'm less underwhelmed now that I realise it wasn't Derrick Carter who was playing - what a mong I am :-/) and the locals weren't really my cup of tea, but definitely worth the admission just for Mr Van M.

Bring on Sasha and Diggers...

Doesnt look like Famous are slowing down in 2007. Check out who has been added to their coming events.

http://www.famousclub.com.au/

With 16bit lolitas on the list looks like we will even get Mr Millson back there
