Absolutely agree with Ferry, i told the same! You just push 1 button and computer will make 7 hours mix when you can sleep near the table.DJing when you are manually mix vinyls (or promo CDs if it wasn't released yet), if you play all own tracks you can make it live on comp or synth.

I always thought Djing is mostly about choosing tracks - PvD plays these tracks, thats why hes brilliant, not because of beatmatching.
I think its ridiculous, when you try to explaine people what djs are doing. what do you tell them? I make the left record run as fast as the right one and then fade in....???
thats what morons can do, in Ferrys words; nothing like art or something.

try the richie hawtin - de9. that 'mix' couldn't be made 'manually'.. so ableton could be good thing..
but if is using with right mind

Don't understand why do organizers invite Lexy & K-Paul every year and they play the same tracks from year to year! Sono also! Alexander Kowalski every year Belo Horizonte!

one yr ago kowalski played some other tracks than 2yrs ago, so he isn't so bad..
and i think l&kp are just cheap and crowd would hear it.
haven't heard sono..

Agreed.

If he will keep that pace through all 2 hour set, it will be amazing. I always loved PvD for such style, but not Alter Ego - Rocker and Lucca - Mirage he mixing with NU NRG - Casino. Nightmare
