BTW, Ben or Steve, if eithe ryou boys talk to Gareth before he comes, tell him to bring along Interlok!!! It's one of my faves by him and Nicholas Bennison and it's never seen a vinyl release! I'd love to hear him drop it!

i dont see a problem with smashing out some uplifting techy prog like the good ol days of crasher at the beginning..

last time i was at metro it was embarrasing.. too many anthems reach for the laser stuff too early.

just to add fuel to the fire, the earlier gatecrasher cds can be categorised into the 'progressive trance' genre and warm up DJs for gatecrasher back then started with prog (matt hardwick, ashley casselle etc.)

so if you're expecting banging trance from the start i think you just being silly! imo strangis is at his best when he plays prog trance!

but then again what do i know about good music?

I usually brand the term uplifting very loosely. To me whatever genre it may be, if the sounds are fresh and fairly atmospheric then to me it�s uplifting because it makes me feel good. I was buying records one day (2001) at DMC and I asked for some uplifting progressive. He said there is no such thing for which I disagreed and smashed a turntable over his head.
