Yeah. It def. did not look good. Ouch.

He's going to be out for a while. Unfortunate b/c the Raps need his defence.

Ugly game in general too... Though that TJ Ford take over in 4th quarter was amusing to watch.

George Karl as a coach... Big question mark. Melo and A.I were cold all game.

Hopefully Bosh's sprained ankle isn't serious.

I was lucky enough to witness that live, haha. By the second half we busted out our "THIS BALLGAME IS OVER!" signs.

Tonights game though...*pukes*

Poor Jorge

Yeah, that sounded really bad. I was only listening to the game at that point, and was all wtf. Started watching and, ouch. Damn.

Not surprised. When I saw him ankle during the many replays, there was one instance where it was unnaturally bent outwards. I knew right there that he's out for the season. Ankle injuries are the worst.

Yeah, I figured that's why they put the towel on him so quick. No need to show that off.

Yeah, that was a brutal looking injury.....

I just watched it, and for sure it looked like a clean break (in a bad spot).

How many games do we have left? I hope we can hold on to our division lead with Bargnani and Garbo now out.

All we need is a combination of 7 to win the division.

A combination of 7 Raptors Wins or 7 Nets Losses.

I think we have like 12 games left?

I think the Nets will lose it themselves lol.

Posted by infinity HiGH on Mar-27-2007 21:08:

Don't jinx it. Yesterday's game was supposed to be an easy win (even those so called "experts" on Raptors TV were saying before the game that the league might as well give us the "W").

Nets are healthy now, so they do have a chance of catching us. Of course it's a really small chance considering how they've played all year.

Posted by Yohan on Mar-27-2007 21:38:

The Raps should still win Atlantic. Still has enough in depth, now that Calderon and Parker are back.

Though I consider Garbo to be such a big part of Raps defence that the rebounding and defence problem is going to be worse, if Raps run into a team with a huge big man presence.

And there's a bit of complacency among the team, IMO, and the rest of the team failed to pick it up when Bosh was being shut down by the Celtics. (well, Ford's one man show was too little too late)

I want to see Pape Sow get some playing time. He worked his ass off whenever he got mins last yr and fought for rebounds. Humphries is too inconsistent and his finishing skills suck.

When's Bargnani coming back?

Last I heard was 2-4 weeks... Though officially I think he's listed as indefinitely

I was just talking to someone and they said the he may be done for the season!

I didn't realize it was such a lenthly problem!

Hopefully were nice and healthy for the playoffs

Posted by exstasie on Mar-28-2007 13:25:

According to TSN he's gone for at least 6 months.

Hopefully he can get healthy and is able to start next year, but the injury looked like he could be out quite a while.

The injury and aftermath is on youtube if any wants to see what actually happened.

TSN said too that Bargnani attended his first practice yesterday so hopefully they rest him up so he's 100% for the playoffs.

Absofuckinglutely.

Practice lightly, moderate training..... but nothing more than that. We need this guy to perform in the playoffs if we want to make any type of a statement.

Exactly. Sit him out for the remainder of the season and just let him get back to form for the playoffs.

amen...though I think picking up Jackson was a shrewd and risk-free move (they say he'll be in camp next year), I'd love to see Pape get some playing time.

Raps are making the playoffs...as it would take a complete meltdown and a huge surge by other teams to prevent that...so why not see if Sow can contribute??? no one else will be more aggressive...

Hard to discount any team with a healthy Shaq and Wade... Though their bench kinda sucks.

Except their bench seems to do well against Toronto for some reason
