I honestly hope so!!

Guv would not be to smart to have the Gift on the 9th only...

Do you think the Guv really cares when they hold the gift....the 9th the 16th the 23rd...it doesn't matter...just because some of you youngsters have exams or others are going to tiesto or liberator.....suck it up.....you get to miss out on the only good night at the Guv

you've totally missed the point. we want a seperate night of mark oliver. a seperate night dedicated to the gift. i mean, it would still suck if it was this friday (cuz i couldn't go) but the outrage is not over the date, but the fact that this legendary party got downgraded to a sideshow of a visiting dj, when we all know that Mark DESERVES a night all his own

I don't want to turn this into a big debate, but if Mark Oliver wanted to do "The Gift" Don't you think he could just say thats what he wants to do. He obviously doesn't care one way or the other.

Maybe there's a reason why he can't do it another night, I'm pretty sure he enjoys belting out the classics and enjoys having the night to himself without other guest dj's every now and then.

wtf??
do you realize that it is not up to him to decide who plays and what event?

Okay. So what you're saying is that the guy who has been their number one dj for so many years can't say to Charles "Hey Charles, let's give the people what they want. Just this one time. Whadda ya say boss?" I doubt he has no say. Anyways i was only suggesting.

in the world of money and business a dj has pretty much no say, because he gets paid to play and that's all.
