i think he meant that he would appreciate comments on the technical aspects of the song as opposed to the actual musical content.

ie. the structure, sound quality, dynamic range, if the ideas flow or come in at the right time.

And just because it's not going to change the outcome doesn't mean I don't want to read the comments

Yup. I must say that Dido comment confuses me...

The first minute of Dido resembles with LV241: Background water, misterious sounds, and mainly the radio comunication.

I'm a bit late i know, but had to put something after Nik practically punched me in my cyber face for not commenting...

Been loving the album ever since i first heard it long ago. It's a well produced and even better crafted combination of lush tracks keeping you interested all the way through. There's something for (almost) everyone so it can't be all that bad, can it? I enjoyed the trip from start to end, no complaints here.

So i recommend. You can chill with it or you can dance with it or whatever you like to do.

I prefer to call it "friendly persuasion"

So the big boys always say. And then i get punched when the teacher is not looking.

That would just be a "friendly pat on the shoulder"

Finally grabbed this and checked it out.

Some very nice sounds in this, drove up to the country last night and had this going in the car - I can tell you have a strong passion for breaks. Pretty good melodies, smooth flow. Really enjoyed it.

Well done.

It just snowed here today, and the glaciation-album came to my mind, it fits perfectly to the atmosphere

Same here. Got to listen from start to end on the rediculously long drive to work today. It made the drive much better

Just thought I would say that I still listen to this album on a regular basis even after downloading since it was first made available.

This album has what 99% of "trance" doesnt have these days - longevity.

I can put this on and forget about the madness that we all live in, and just be transported to a tranquil and peaceful place for an hour or so.

Hopefully it wont be toooooooo long until we hear some new material from you guys, but if not im still happy listening to this!

Thanks.

I'm kinda hoping so too. Not been in a producing mood lately...

I used to cain "Hypnotoad" when i would be making rather dark sets.
The percussion is of the highest standard!

Posted by noicuc on Feb-13-2009 14:36:

Well..... Since im really a tranceaddict , i actually skiped to
"Hypnotoad"

And all i can say is .. Really good percussion elements!!! ( PS : Where do you get FXs and percussions from?)

It gives me that kind of "Arabic" feeling , something you dont feel in most trance tracks

However , one thing that really really disappoint me , is that theres no real breakdown or melody hook...

You could work on these thou , and i guess thats only the down side..

And yeah , the break tracks were pretty awesome , thou im not really a big fan of breaks..

I would actually rate it 4/5.. Since i believe that good sound can also make a simple melody sounds right..

PS:What VSTs were involved in this creation??

I think I might have foolishly deleted them. I do have the original photographs still but I don't know if I can be arsed to recreate the covers
